I am a college student and I want to visit North Korea during the summer vacation.
Hello, I am a sophomore student and I just went to North Korea last summer vacation.
The current situation is as follows:
Traveling to North Korea currently does not support self-guided tours, and you must sign up for a group tour. There are several ways for Chinese citizens to choose from when traveling to North Korea: Beijing-Pyongyang (airplane), Shenyang-Pyongyang (airplane), Dandong-Sinuiju-Pyongyang (train). These require visas in advance. Prices range from more than 2,000 to more than 6,000.
The pass rate for Chinese citizens applying for North Korean visas is 100%, and there is no visa refusal. Just scan and send your documents to the consulate in Dandong in advance. The rest is handled by the tour group.
There is also a visa-free Dandong-Sinuiju day trip, but you can’t see much.
It usually takes 4-6 days to fly to North Korea, and the price ranges from 3,000 to 6,000. After that, you will stay at the Yanggakdo International Hotel. Mainly visit Pyongyang, Myohyang Mountain, Panmunjeom and Mangyongdae, as well as some local characteristic areas.
There are many restrictions on traveling to North Korea, and you need to bring your own necessities such as toothpaste. You must ask North Korean personnel for instructions before taking photos every time, and take photos strictly on the train, otherwise your camera will be confiscated and you will be fined. . . After entering North Korea, you will be accompanied by North Korean security personnel throughout the process and are not allowed to move alone, otherwise you will be discouraged or followed. You cannot carry products made in Korea, let alone mention the word "Korea". . . Many of my classmates have been to North Korea and were deeply touched when they came back. . .
There are also many items that require self-pay, such as military management fees in Panmunjom, flower fees, etc. . .
No copying, just make it yourself, haha
