The China-Russia visa exemption agreement was implemented on the basis of the "Mutual Visa Exemption Agreement for Group Travel in the Sino-Russian Border Areas" signed during the 24th Regular Meeting between the Chinese and Russian Prime Ministers in June 2023.
The agreement stipulates that, if conditions are met, Chinese citizens can enter Russian border areas at designated ports with valid passports, group travel lists and travel agency certification documents, and stay no more than 6 months in 15 days. days; similarly, if the conditions are met, Russian citizens can also enter the Chinese border areas at designated ports with a valid passport, group travel list and travel agency certification documents, and stay for no more than 6 days within 15 days.
