The Hong Kong and Macau Permit is issued by the Exit-Entry Administration Bureau of the People's Republic of China and the Ministry of Public Security to residents of mainland China who travel to Hong Kong or Macau for private purposes, visit relatives, and Travel documents for non-official activities such as business, training, employment, studying abroad, etc. 1. How to apply for Hong Kong and Macau Pass Endorsement (1) If you join a tour group to travel to Hong Kong or Macau, apply for a "Group Travel" endorsement and submit the following materials: Chinese Citizen Entry and Exit Document Application Form, Hong Kong and Macau Pass. (2) Residents of cities open to individual travel to Hong Kong and Macao must apply for an "individual travel" endorsement and submit the following materials: application form for entry-exit documents for Chinese citizens, and travel passes to and from Hong Kong and Macao. (3) If you go to Hong Kong or Macau to visit your spouse, parents, spouse’s parents, children, children’s spouse, brothers and sisters, (maternal) grandparents or (maternal) grandchildren, apply for a “visit relative” endorsement and submit the following materials: 1. Application form for entry-exit documents for Chinese citizens. 2. Permit to travel to and from Hong Kong and Macao. 3. One of the following materials that can prove the corresponding kinship: marriage certificate, "Medical Birth Certificate", household registration book, police station certificate, notarized kinship certificate. 4. If the relative has settled in Hong Kong or Macau, the relative’s Hong Kong or Macau resident identity card and the Mainland Travel Permit for Hong Kong and Macao residents must be submitted; if the relative is a foreign national, the relative’s Hong Kong or Macau permanent resident identity card and foreign passport must be submitted. If relatives abroad cannot submit original materials, they must submit copies. If relatives live in Hong Kong for a long time, submit the relative's Hong Kong resident identity card, a valid Hong Kong entry permit valid for more than one year, and a travel permit or passport for traveling to Hong Kong and Macau. (5) If you want to go to Hong Kong or Macau to study, work, train, reside, accompany or be a dependent, apply for a "stay" endorsement and submit the following materials: 1. Application form for entry-exit document for Chinese citizens. 2. Permit to travel to and from Hong Kong and Macao. 3. If you want to go to Hong Kong to study, work, train, reside, work as a dependent, or as a dependent to depend on relatives in Hong Kong, you must submit an entry permit issued by the Hong Kong Immigration Department. Those seeking employment in Macao must submit approval documents issued by the Immigration Affairs Department of the Macao Public Security Police Force or the Macao Human Resources Office and the Macao Department of Social Affairs and Culture. Those who apply for employment in Macao through a labor service company must also submit the "Audit Form for Labor Cooperation Projects in the Macao Special Administrative Region" issued by the mainland's commercial authorities. If the validity period of the stay visa expires and you need to continue to apply for a stay visa, you must submit a confirmation letter issued by the Immigration Affairs Department of the Macao Public Security Police Force, or an approval document issued by the Macao Human Resources Office and the Macao Department of Social Affairs and Culture. Relatives of persons employed in Macao who wish to reside in Macao must submit an approval notice issued by the Immigration Affairs Department of the Macao Public Security Police Force. Those who go to Macau for accompanying assignments must submit the "Accompanying Identity Certification Form for Minor Children of Personnel Stationed in Macau" issued by the Personnel Department of the Liaison Office of the Central People's Government in the Macau Special Administrative Region.
