Will my application for a tourist visa in Australia be rejected?

Travel to Australia requires an Australian tourist visa.

A tourist visa is a temporary visa that allows applicants to travel to Australia or engage in business activities.

This visa category includes the following two series, which can be applied outside Australia:

Tourism series

Vacation in Australia, visiting relatives and friends or other short-term non-work purposes, including no more than three months of study.

Business visitor series

A short business visit to Australia, including:

(1) Conduct routine business investigation or government investigation activities.

(2) Contract negotiation

(3) Intergovernmental visits

(4) Attend meetings, seminars, job interviews or vocational examinations.

Please note: Temporary work visa (short stay activities) (category 400) allows applicants to do the following activities:

Working for an Australian institution or individual

Selling products or providing services to the Australian public (retail behavior)

Passport holders in some countries can apply for electronic travel permits or electronic travel visas.
