Do you know how to play Tianmen Mountain in Zhangjiajie?

What do you mean by time division? It is to enter the scenic spot to limit the flow and enter in batches. You can't go in if you buy a ticket. Zhangjiajie has two tourist cards, one is Wulingyuan and the other is Tianmen Mountain. The Tianmen Mountain here is the one where the plane passes through the Tianmen Cave! In my impression, Wulingyuan scenic spot is very large and complicated to visit, while Tianmen Mountain is much simpler. However, in fact, is this really the case? Is Tianmen Mountain in Tian Zi? What are the details of timesharing? Do I have to take a cableway to climb Tianmen Mountain? Can't I climb to the top? Is there only Tianmen Cave in Tianmen Mountain? Is the legendary glass plank road above or below the Tianmen Cave? Come on ~ ~ look down! The answers are all below!

Are Tianmen Mountain and Tianzi the same place?

No, they are totally two scenic spots. Although they all belong to Zhangjiajie, they are more than 40 kilometers apart. Tian Zi is a small scenic spot in Wulingyuan Scenic Area, and Tianmen Mountain is an independent 5A-level national forest park in Zhangjiajie. Therefore, when friends travel to Zhangjiajie, don't confuse these two scenic spots!

And there may be Tianmen Mountain in other parts of the country, but please remember-only Tianmen Mountain in Zhangjiajie has Tianmen Cave!

What is there to see in Tianmen Mountain?

Tianmen Mountain is a business card scenic spot in Zhangjiajie, with the same name as Wulingyuan, and is known as "the first mountain in western Hunan". Tianmen Cave, Ghost Valley plank road, glass plank road and Tianmen cableway in the scenic spot are the highlights of the scenic spot that must be experienced.

Tianmendong

Tianmen Cave is the symbol and the first bright spot of Tianmen Mountain in Zhangjiajie. Once, the performance of the plane crossing the Tianmen Cave made it famous all over the world. This hole was not dug artificially, but naturally penetrated the cave, so it is definitely a wonder.

To reach the cave, you must go through the "ladder" of 999 stone steps. "Don't say that the mountain is high in the sky, there is really a ladder inside." Many tourists here, regardless of fatigue, resolutely climbed to the top, filled with excitement, just like going to heaven. Standing at the mouth of the cave overlooking, everything is very small, with a sense of accomplishment, and the fatigue of climbing has been eliminated by most.

Ghost valley plank road

Ghost Valley plank road is the second highlight of Tianmen Mountain. According to legend, Guiguzi, a strategist and Taoist during the Warring States period, lived in seclusion in a cave on this mountain, thus leaving the "Guigudong", hence the name of this plank road.

The plank road is 3.2 kilometers long and zigzagged on a vertical cliff, which is equivalent to the height of 400 stories (Burj Dubai has only 162 stories), which is very steep. Looking down is a valley with dense trees, which is unfathomable. The playing time is about one hour.

Glass walkway

The Ghost Valley plank road above is high enough and shocking enough. But if you replace the cement slate on the plank road with transparent glass, it would be wonderful! The glass plank road in Tianmen Mountain is such a place to stimulate your leg weakness. Every visitor who steps on the glass plank road has a different expression on his face, including fear, excitement, joy, dumbfounding and glassy eyes! I have to say that this is a challenge to courage. In the embrace of nature, human beings are insignificant!

The glass plank road is 60 meters long, and you need to wear special shoe covers to walk on it. Shoe covers 5 yuan/person (Someone sells shoe covers at Tianmenshan ticket station, which is deceptive. There are special shoe covers on the glass plank road. )

tianmenshan cableway

Photo: Tour Tianmen Mountain cableway and Panshan Highway by carousel.

From the urban area to the top of Tianmen Mountain, the total length is nearly 15 km, which is one of the few alpine ropeways in China with a height difference exceeding 1000 m, and the local inclination is rare in the world. The ropeway is divided into upper, middle and lower stations. The next stop is downtown, and the last stop is the top of the mountain. It takes about half an hour to go one way. At the foot is a vast forest, green mountains and green waters, infinite scenery, very "flying" feeling.

Below the cable car, you can also see the famous wonder of the world's first expressway-Tianmenshan Panshan Highway. The total length of Panshan Highway is about 1 1 km, and the altitude rises steeply from 200m to1300m. The cliffs on both sides of the road are steep, the valleys are deep and empty, and there are 99 bends, with sharp bends 180 degrees, just like jade belts, with sharp bends and overlapping layers.

How to play Tianmen Mountain?

Tianmen Mountain is divided into two parts: the foot of the mountain and the top of the mountain. Tianmen cave is at the foot of the mountain, and the top of the mountain includes ghost valley plank road and glass plank road. There is an escalator between the mountain and the foot of the mountain.

How to arrange the tour routes on the mountain and under the mountain?

Route A: First go up the mountain and then down the mountain, then the cableway goes up the mountain and the highway goes down. Specific: ropeway going up the mountain-sightseeing at the top of the mountain-going down the Tianmen Cave by the escalator-going down the mountain gate by the scenic tour bus-transferring to the ropeway station for free.

Route B: Go down the mountain and then to the top of the mountain, get on the highway and get off the ropeway. Specific: Take the bus ferry to Shanmen at the next stop of the ropeway-take the scenic tour bus to Tianmen Cave-visit Tianmen Cave and then take the escalator to the top of the mountain-visit the top of the mountain-get off the ropeway.

Which is better, line A or line B?

Line A and Line B are only the difference in the tour order, and the scenic spots they see are the same. But I recommend Line B, that is, expressway goes up the mountain and the cableway goes down. Because the queue time of eco-cars going up the mountain is relatively short. Most people who come to Tianmen Mountain will like Line A, but the queuing time of cableway up the mountain is basically more than 2 hours. If you must also choose Line A, I suggest that you book tickets for Line A at least 1 day in advance, otherwise you can only go to the window to buy full-price tickets that day, even if you buy full-price tickets, you should go early. The reason is in the ticket part later, and I will explain it in detail.

Among them, the top of the mountain is divided into western and eastern lines.

Peak West Line (from north to south): Cableway Station-Lingxiaotai-West Line Glass Plank Road-One Red Pavilion-North Section of Guigu Plank Road-Guigu Ice Plate-Wild Treasure-South Section of Guigu Plank Road-Suspension Bridge-Guigui Cave-Qiu Er Cave-Cherry Bay-Tianmenshan Temple-Take the forest sightseeing cable car to Yunmeng Xianding or continue the tour from south to north.

East Peak Line (from north to south): ropeway station-Sling Divine Fish-David Garden-Bonsai Stone Area-Tianmen Flooding (via escalator station)-North overlooking Tianmen-Lingquan-Happy Forest-Yuhufeng-Zuiyun Pavilion-Kouyunguan-Yuan Xian-East Glass Plank Road-Southeast Plank Road overlooking Tianmen-Love of Wood and Stone-Sakura.

Which is the west line or the east line?

Compared with the east-west line, the west line looks better! If you have enough time, you can take a ring road at the top of the mountain.

For route A, because it is a cableway going up the mountain, we reach the top of the mountain, and the tour starts from the station on the cableway (from north to south). Route B, take the cross-mountain escalator from Tianmen Cave to the top of the mountain, and the tour starts from the cross-mountain escalator (from south to north).

If there is not enough time, it is recommended to take only the western route, not the eastern route. When visiting Tianmenshan Temple in the west, take the peak forest sightseeing cable car (hanging chair cable car, one-way 25 yuan/person) to Yunmeng Xianding, and then walk from Yunmeng Xianding for about 30 minutes to reach the mountain escalator.

Tips:

1, Tianmen Mountain is only open for sightseeing at the top of the mountain in winter, and you can only go up and down the mountain by cableway. The Tianmen cave at the foot of the mountain will be closed, but it won't last long, usually ten days.

2. The mountain escalator is divided into two sections, the upper section is from the top of the mountain to Tianmen Cave, and the ride is free. There is a charge from Tianmen Cave to the square in front of the cave (it is another way to climb a ladder, which is more labor-saving and does not need to take 999 steps), and it is a one-way 32 yuan/person.

How much is the ticket for Tianmen Mountain? How to divide the time?

2. Take a one-day tour and get up early to get the ticket and give it to the tour guide. When someone picked up the ticket, the bus rushed to the hotel to pick up the guests.

Instead of taking a one-day tour, it is best to stay in Zhangjiajie city for one night one day in advance and pick up tickets at Tianmen Mountain the next morning, so that you can win the mountain in the morning. Friends who haven't arrived at the check-in time can rest in the rest area, or go to the city to have a meal. After all, things on Tianmen Mountain are not cheap.
