Glasgow is the most typical Scottish city and the largest city in Scotland. The city center is on the north bank of the River Clyde, famous for its shipyards.

Glasgow's cathedral was built in the 6th century and has developed as tourist attractions spread across the city, integrating art, history, architecture, music, sports and shopping. It's home to the UK's finest Met Gala and museums, as well as countless good-value restaurants. The streets and alleys are full of bars, and it is one of the classic cities that blends ancient and modern times. It is also home to many national performing arts companies, such as the Royal Scottish National Orchestra, Scottish Opera Company and Scottish Ballet.

City attractions: Glasgow Cathedral: Located east of the train station, it has a standard 16th-century Scottish architectural style.
