How to apply for a Japanese tourist visa with a US F1 visa

Theoretically, holding a US visa has nothing to do with applying for a Japanese visa. It is the US government's business to grant visas to the United States, and it is the Japanese government's business to grant visas to Japan.

At present, Japan is relatively relaxed about tourist visas. You only need to prove that you have enough financial resources to pay for the travel expenses and there is no obvious purpose of illegal stay.
