What is there to do in Shanghai? What are the attractions worth visiting in Shanghai?

People call Shanghai the Magic City. What's interesting here is the strong economic system and the cultural scene here, which really attract a lot of people.

If this is your first time in Shanghai, plan to spend 3 to 4 days visiting this magical capital and another day for Disney (see my next Disney guide).

Then, please spend 5 minutes browsing the article. This will save you a lot of time, avoid many detours, and greatly improve the quality of travel. (Practical strategies, you are welcome to take them away *^O^*)

1.

Recently, college students gathered in Shanghai. First, old classmates were reminiscing about old times; second, it was the first time for classmates to visit Shanghai. Kill two birds with one stone and hit it off immediately.

Actually, when I heard that I was coming to Shanghai for a party, my first reaction was to be happy, and then I thought of Alexander. Although I have been in Shanghai for almost a year, I rarely go out for sightseeing except for work and residence. Maybe I answered that sentence because I didn’t go there for sightseeing and I felt I had plenty of time. Before coming to Shanghai, I thought magic was a god-like existence. Ordinary people of my generation can only afford it. After arriving, I found that there really wasn’t much to do, just shopping.

In order to welcome the arrival of old classmates, I also made a lot of strategies in the early stage. Hotels, food, beauties, transportation, these aspects should be checked in advance, and the time of each day should be arranged reasonably, just because the old classmate is happy that you are here.

As for hotels, Super 8, Home Inn, Hanting, and Motel are the first choices. The geographical location is of course a more convenient place for visiting scenic spots, such as Lujiazui and Xujiahui. The location is good, but the hotel is expensive. As a working-class person, everything is based on economic benefits, so the location is Dapuqiao because the price is moderate and the subway is convenient. It's a pity that there will be an exhibition on those days and the room rate will increase. I had to settle for the next best thing and choose Lin San, which is a bit remote. Fortunately, it is very close to Disney and the Shanghai Metro is also very convenient, so I made a reservation in advance. Start looking at hotel options half a month in advance. I first browsed the group buying website and then visited nearby hotels. The final decision is made on the website two days in advance, and hotel reservations can be canceled for free in case of changes.

On the first day, Nanjing Road Pedestrian Street-People’s Square-The Bund-Old Town God’s Temple-Yu Garden. Don’t miss the night view of the Bund at night!

Before departure, I went to the subway station and bought a 50 yuan subway card, with a refundable deposit of 20 yuan. The Shanghai subway is very convenient. Having a subway card saves you the trouble of buying tickets every time.

It is the scenery of the Bund in Shanghai and a must-see for tourists visiting Shanghai. Friends who come to Shanghai for the first time must pay tribute to the charm of this magical city. On the first day of walking these routes, I hope my friends will have a buffer. If I fly over at night and get up too early in the morning, my overall condition will be bad. The first day was very leisurely and gave me my first impression of Shanghai.

Get up at 8 o'clock in the morning, have a leisurely breakfast, take Metro Line 2 to Nanjing East Road at 9 o'clock, and get off at Nanjing Road Pedestrian Street. Nanjing Road has always been known as "China's No. 1 Commercial Street". There are various old and new brands along the road, showing the atmosphere and western style of the new era everywhere. Many friends may think that the specialty products on Nanjing Road are only for tourists, but they are a bit expensive, but the quality of many time-honored brands can definitely be trusted.

Wandering along Nanjing Road is almost enough. There is a stone monument on Nanjing Road Pedestrian Street, and many tourists queue up to take photos. Of course have a nice gesture to commemorate your first visit.

After coming out of the pedestrian street, we went straight to the Bund and admired the Bund during the day. It is a symbol of Shanghai. Of course, we wouldn’t miss this great photo opportunity. After taking pictures, you can visit the nearby People’s Square. The song "I Eat Fried Chicken in People's Square" brings People's Square and fried chicken together again. When you're hungry, buy some fried chicken, hum a song, and post on Moments. Is it too full? If you arrive on Saturday, you can visit the People’s Park again and see the legendary Blind Date Corner!

It’s almost noon. are you hungry? Then take a Mobike or yellow car to go there

Yunnan South Road Food Street is famous in Shanghai. Many time-honored Shanghai brands can be found on this street. There are 30 famous Chinese snack bars such as Xiao Shaoxing white-cut chicken, Xiao Jinling salted duck, fresh ribs and rice cakes, etc., and there is a long queue at the gate of Dahuchun.

We ate Bullfrog Noodles at Celebrities Online. It’s a small shop that’s not easy to find, but there are a lot of people, most of whom come here. It’s hard to find anyone. We also stood and waited for a long time, which is hard enough for food.

After eating and drinking, everyone happily rode to Yuyuan Garden and City God Temple.

“If you don’t go to the City God’s Temple in Shanghai, it means you have never been to Shanghai.” This shows the influence of the status of the Old City God’s Temple in Shanghai. With the popularity of Chenghuang Temple, the snacks of Chenghuang Temple are also famous throughout the country. The entrance fee is 10 yuan, and you will receive three sticks of incense upon entry. Here, I hold a stick of incense and make a wish. I suddenly change my hometown and just wish to get drunk before resting.

Yuyuan Garden is known as the "urban forest" and also known as "the most beautiful garden in the southeast". It is a famous Jiangnan classical garden in Shanghai. Nowadays, Yuyuan Garden usually includes several bustling streets leading into Yuyuan Garden, as well as Yuyuan Garden symbols such as Jiuqu Bridge and Huxin Pavilion. Shanghai also has a famous small commodity market where you can find some gifts for friends.

Remember: shop around before you start! Tickets are 40 yuan in peak season and 30 yuan in off-season.

It got dark before I knew it. If you are not too tired, you can watch the night view of the Bund and take a ferry at night. Because we were going to Disneyland the next day, we released the ferry on the third night. Time won't go too fast and people will be more relaxed.

3.

I am going to Disneyland the next day. I have to get up early. I will write the next article. don’t worry.

On the third day, the first meeting place of the Communist Party of China - Xintiandi - Zhou Mansion - Tianzifang.

We happened to catch up with the Shanghai Tourism Festival, and the wildlife park and aquarium were half price. After discussion, we included the safari in our itinerary. In the morning, I visited a relatively relaxing place, Xintiandi-Zhou Mansion, the site of the First Congress of the Communist Party of China. These three places are very close to each other and it basically took me more than an hour to visit them all.

Xintiandi is a European-style leisure and entertainment square with Shikumen architecture as the main body. It is a collection of various bars, restaurants and nightclubs. It is one of the newly built landscapes in Shanghai, a fashionable new landmark representing Shanghai's nightlife, and a good place with personality and atmosphere.

The site of the First Congress of the Communist Party of China is called the site of the First National Congress of the Communist Party of China. Two two-story brick and wood structure buildings are side by side along the street, facing north and south. They are typical Shikumen-style buildings in Shanghai and are also national key cultural relics protection units. There is an auxiliary exhibition room in the memorial hall, which displays documents from the founding period of the Communist Party of China.

Ticket: 3 yuan

Opening hours: 9:00-16:00, closed on Mondays and Thursdays.

Zhou Mansion is located on Sinan Road, Luwan District, Shanghai. It is a small Western-style building with a three-story garden house. It used to be the office of the Communist Party of China delegation in Shanghai. Premier Zhou Enlai received the special envoy of the US President, General Marshall, and exchanged views with representatives of the Kuomintang government, Shao Lizi and Wu Tiecheng, and third-party representatives Shen Junru and Huang Yanpei. He also held a press conference at home and abroad. Let us revisit this place with reverence and appreciate the elegance of the great man.

Tickets: Free, limited to 300 visitors per day.

Opening hours: 9:00-16:30 (no entry at 16:00), open as usual on holidays.

At 1 o'clock, we rode along Sinan Road to Tianzifang, which is a fashionable landmark creative industry gathering area formed after the renovation of Shanghai's Shikumen building complex, and is also the creative work base of many artists. This is the most interesting and distinctive alley in Shanghai today, where people can feel more of the friendly, warm and noisy side of Shanghai.

You can have lunch at Tianzifang at noon, and you can also find many online celebrity shops online. In addition to the taste, the layout and creativity of the store will definitely make you feel fresh and new. You can't help but pick up your mobile phone and shoo

We caught up with Shanghai's annual tourism festival, half price, and temporarily added a safari. In this morning, I took a rough look at other people's daily schedules. If you have enough time, you can leisurely visit the Zhou Mansion, the site of the First Congress of the Communist Party of China, Xintiandi, and the memorial hall opposite Xintiandi in the morning. It feels a bit like Tianzifang, but not as big as Tianzifang. There are many delicious foods in Xintiandi. I settled here at noon, strolled around Tianzifang leisurely, and had some snacks in the afternoon. It was beautiful.

After we went to the safari park in the afternoon, we took the subway back to the city center around 5 pm. Get off at Lujiazui. At around 7 o'clock, the lights of the Oriental Pearl Tower came on. It’s simply not beautiful to take pictures here.

The Oriental Pearl TV Tower is a hot spot in Shanghai's Lujiazui Financial Center, across the river from the Bund.

Tickets: 100 yuan (263-meter sightseeing hall), 135 yuan (second ball plus city history exhibition hall), 150 yuan (third ball), 35 yuan city history exhibition hall. Children under 1.2 meters get a 50% discount, and seniors over 70 get a 40% discount. From 19:30 to 20:30, the large-scale costume song and dance show "China Five Thousand" will be staged. Tickets are 120 yuan, 180 yuan, and 280 yuan respectively.

Opening hours: 8:00-18:00

Jinmao Tower is located in a prime location in Lujiazui Financial and Commercial District, Pudong New District, Shanghai, across the river from the famous Bund Scenic Area, *** 88 floors. It is currently the fourth tallest building in the world and the second tallest building in China. It can be called a landmark building in Shanghai. Its direct elevator takes you from the underground floor to the observation hall on the 88th floor in just 45 seconds, which is called "time travel." From Jinmao, you can have a panoramic view of the city scenery on both sides of the Huangpu River and the magnificent scenery of the Yangtze River Estuary. So beautiful!

Ticket: 88 yuan

Opening hours: 8: 30-22: 00

Then take the sightseeing bus to the ferry port, swipe the two-yuan subway card, and take the Ferry to the Bund opposite. The scenery by the river is so beautiful. When you arrive at the Bund, in addition to the sea breeze, you can’t miss taking photos. Shanghai at night is really not just what is sung in the songs. It will also make people feel the prosperity of Shanghai and their own insignificance. This trip to Shanghai is not in vain, the night watching the night view of the Bund is a complete night!

Of course, the last day is for relaxation.

Qibao Street-Xujiahui Catholic Church-Xujiahui Library-Xujiahui Park

There is a saying that "Shanghai will see Lujiazui in ten years, the Bund in a hundred years, and Qibao in a thousand years." In Qibao Street, there are cricket halls and time-honored shops that reflect Shanghai's past ethnic customs, Qibao Theater that showcases local operas, and a miniature sculpture hall and calligraphy hall that reflect Chinese folk arts and Shanghai-style culture. Coming here will definitely let you experience a different Shanghai ethnic customs. Of course, as a foodie, eating is the main thing. First, eat a bunch of candied haws to kill the greedy bugs, then have a sweet corn on the cob to wake up your taste buds, and then serve various barbecues, including dumplings and crab noodles in a small cage for appetizers, and underneath are beggar's chicken and bamboo tube rice, as well as a bowl of beef offal Soup. Pancakes and crabapple cakes cannot be eaten and taken home.

With a round belly, I walked around Xujiahui Catholic Church, Xujiahui Library, and Xujiahui Park in the afternoon to digest my food.

Xujiahui Church is the largest Catholic church in Shanghai. This is a medieval Gothic building with red brick walls, white stone columns, and two bell towers, facing north and south, towering into the sky. There are many mass services every morning. On Sundays and important festivals in the church, the congregation gathers together for solemn ceremonies. The weather is sunny, and many couples will take wedding photos here.

The Xujiahui Library is the earliest existing modern library in Shanghai, and it is also the epitome of my study of the spread of Western learning to the East. If you are tired of all kinds of big cities and have long forgotten what the library looks like, it is better to slow down and feel its centuries of loneliness and vicissitudes.

Tickets: Free

Opening hours: Monday to Saturday 9:00-17:00; closed on Sundays; 9:00-16:00 national statutory holidays

Xujiahui Park was built in 2000 and retains the chimneys of the rubber factory and the office building of the record factory, inheriting historical memories. The layout is in the shape of the Shanghai territory, simulating the Huangpu River and ot

At this point, the four-day tour of Shanghai comes to an end. I just want to walk back slowly, there is too much nostalgia and reluctance. If we don’t give up, the memory of Shanghai can only remain in our memories and photos. Planes fly here and there, and people come and go.

No matter how wonderful the process is or what the ending is, we will say goodbye.

Let’s take the specialties and beautiful memories with us, we are just passers-by after all
