The Latest Travel Guide of Gongga Mountain in 2020

Gongga Mountain is located in Ganzi Tibetan area, Sichuan Province, and it is also a local sacred mountain. The natural environment here has remained the same for thousands of years without any pollution, which is very suitable for people's holiday and leisure needs. Here, I would like to share with you the specific raiders guide.

In such a dense landscape of Hengduan Mountains, the Great Snow Mountain in the East is undoubtedly the most dazzling one. Its main peak, Gongga Snow Mountain, stands proudly above the peaks between the Qinghai-Tibet Plateau and the Chengdu Plain at an altitude of 7556 meters, making it a well-deserved "king of Shu". ?

It is the 4th1peak in the world and the 6th1peak in China, which means "supreme pure snow mountain" in Tibetan. Its eastern part is densely populated, the city is prosperous, fireworks can be seen everywhere, the western part is sparsely populated, and the snow-capped mountains and Qinghai-Tibet Plateau are distributed in an arc, thus showing the stepped landform of China.

Gongga Mountain is also the 7000m peak in the east of the world. I live in the west of Chengdu. When the weather is fine, I have a great chance to photograph it. This snow-capped mountain, rated as the second most beautiful in China, has an irreplaceable sacred position in my heart.

I walked through its southwest and south ring roads in 2009 and 20 10. This time, we will walk through its western line again.

Traditionally, Gongga crosses the whole line, generally starting from the old Yulin Power Station in kangding city, going upstream along the Yulin River, passing through the Gexi Grassland, crossing the Riwuqie Pass, entering the Moxigou Valley, crossing the winter pasture and reaching Gongga Temple.

From Gongga Temple to Xiazimei Village, it crosses Bawanghai and ends at the boundary pillar of Caoke Township, Shimian County. Hiking is about 90 kilometers. Since we have all been to Gongga Temple, we changed our route, that is, from Moxigou directly across Manyakou, Longjie at an altitude of 4,560 meters, passing through Yulong West Village and ending our trip in Shangmuju Township.

Some people say that if you love hiking, you actually love yourself. Because it represents a life attitude, a temperament, and a way to explore one's own heart.

When we set foot on the road, we have a feeling of physical and mental relaxation, which gives us more opportunities to talk, communicate and reconcile with our past, present and even uncertain future.

In this process, we can intuitively appreciate the fun of walking, and learn to love the uneven road under our feet, the sparse and mottled light and shadow in the forest, the sunrise, sunset and starry sky, the cold snow-capped mountains and warm huts along the way, the pedestrians accompanying or passing by along the way, and the unknown future and distance.

An hour later, we arrived at the empty Gexi grassland where yaks swarmed. Although August is the traditional Gongga crossing season, we didn't meet many people along the way.

We continued along the winding Yulin River and walked in the empty valley, surrounded by a sunny scene, and the air was pure and dry. In the distance is Jiazi Peak, which is shrouded in mist. It is one of the famous towering peaks in Gongga Mountain, with an altitude of 6549 meters. This is a typical snowy mountain peak.

Looking back, the peaks on the north side of the big snow mountain are arranged in turn, standing quietly in the warm sunshine. They are Bijia Mountain, Shehaizi Mountain and Tianhaizi Mountain. These 6,000 kilometers of snow-capped mountains, like silent giants, cast a huge shadow behind us.

Near the Liangcha River, there is a large red stone beach, which is the result of an algae called orange algae attached to the rock. It will be more bright red in water mist or after rain. Liangcha River is named after the intersection of Riwuqi River and Panpanshan River.

It is an important node on the crossing line, turn right and lead to Pan Pan Pass, while ours will walk along the left bank of the river.

Yulin River, formed by the confluence of the two rivers, has a huge amount of water, an open river surface, and large and small glacier rubble and shrubs piled up along the coast. This is a summer pasture with abundant water and grass, which extends to the Shangri-La May 7th Camp at the foot of the mountain ten kilometers away.

Shangriwu and the camp are 4350 meters above sea level. It was five o'clock in the afternoon when we arrived, and the landmarks here were some artificial stone walls or bonfire pools. Every May and June, Tibetans who dig Cordyceps will stay here for a while. On the grass. Countless streams dance like dragons and snakes.

In the northeast of our camp, the round mountains of Jiazi Peak crisscross, with clear texture and clear lines outlined by snow. The nearby Little Gongga Peak is 5900 meters above sea level, so it is named after its pyramid-shaped peak and pointed tinder shaped like the main Gongga Peak.

To the east of the camp is Ledoman Peak at an altitude of 665,438+065,438+02 meters, which is located at the intersection of Riwuchegou and Moxigou. Because of its great difficulty in mountaineering and alpine skiing, it has always been a mountain that international mountaineers and skiers challenge and chase. There is a well-developed glacier on its north side, with a terminal elevation of 4550 meters, which is the main water source of the Riwuche River. There is a beautiful ice lake under the glacier tongue, and the landscape is steep and beautiful.

The snow-capped mountains in the north and south intercepted a large amount of water vapor from the southwest Indian Ocean and the eastern Pacific Ocean, forming a large-scale marine glacier group. There are 76 glaciers in Gongga Mountain alone, with an altitude of 7556 meters from the highest point. Straight to the lowest point of 2979 meters above sea level. There are Hailuogou Glacier, Mozigou Glacier, Gongba Glacier, Yanzigou Glacier and Ledoman Glacier, with a difference of more than 4500 meters. ...

... along the watershed of the snow-capped mountains, these glaciers form a pinnate glacier belt 50 kilometers long from north to south and 20 kilometers wide from east to west. Glaciers seem to fall into the world from the clouds. Another example is the snow and ice waterfall that also connects the sky and the earth.

There are four large glaciers in the main peak of Gongga, which are located in the east, north, northwest and southwest directions respectively. Strong geological tectonic movement and hard granite created the towering pyramid-shaped mountain of Gongga Mountain. Under the long-term erosion of glaciers, the main peak presents a quadrangular pyramid shape, including four walls and four ridges. Its narrow ridge looks like an oblique blade and a fish fin, so it is called a fin-like blade ridge with an inclination of more than 70 degrees. Coupled with the complex and changeable climate environment, Gongga Peak has become one of the most difficult peaks to climb in the world. According to statistics, by the end of 20 18, only 24 people had successfully climbed to the top, but 37 people were killed during and after climbing. The death rate of mountaineering far exceeds 14% of Mount Everest and 30% of K2, so it is called "savage giant peak".

At night, the strong wind kept shaking the tent, and the warm and humid airflow from the southeast rose to a height of more than 6000 meters, getting colder and colder and more uncomfortable. After crossing the snow-capped mountains, it suddenly dropped 2000 meters on the north side, causing severe pressure changes and strong step winds, which also made us feel like thunder when sleeping in tents, making it difficult to sleep.

When we get up in the morning, everyone is in bad spirits. Today's trip is quite difficult. We had to cross the Riwuqi Pass at an altitude of 4,900 meters, then go down to Moxigou, and finally reach the ecological hut under the Manyakou Pass in Longjie, about 30 kilometers away. In our small team. Most of them have gone hiking together. In fact, outdoors, people consciously keep a certain friendship distance, so it is necessary to try not to cause trouble to their peers. In this respect, I think the Japanese may be the best companions for hiking together (laughs).

Continuing up, we walk between alpine meadow and desert, where we meet the blue sky, and at the end of the rock-barrier-like path, it is Riwuqiyakou. The monotonous scenery, the open hillside and the rapidly rising slope give people a very uncomfortable feeling. Uninterrupted mechanical walking, drowsiness and lack of oxygen at high altitude make me feel physically and mentally exhausted, and the time drags on for a long time, and the ascending route of several hundred meters seems endless.

Far away, I saw the guide Tashi catch up with the horse and easily surpass us to climb the high pass. The empty horse suddenly made me laugh: we rented a horse to leave it empty, but we trudged on this deserted hillside with a backpack of twenty or thirty kilograms-is this the so-called "meaning of walking"? Perhaps, the viewpoint of Robert MacFarlane, a British writer of hiking literature, can be used as a reference: "Walking is a mixture of excitement, fatigue, burnout, adventure and sentiment of travelers? The pressure you feel, the texture you can feel, and the space you can see can all have an effect on people's bodies, and can also have an effect on people's thoughts, changing the texture and tendency of thoughts. "

I hope so, I muttered, rested on the platform under the pass for a while, and then climbed the last steep slope with a trekking stick in one hand. As a person with a poor sense of balance, I am not used to using parallel bars. In this rocky and narrow mountain pass, the wind is very strong, which makes people stagger and there is almost no place to stand. Looking back at the May 7th Camp in Shangri-La, the stream is like a wetland. Cumulus clouds rise up the mountain, roll sideways with the wind, spread like waves, and are hidden by many snow peaks.

Moxigou is a huge S-shape, which extends to the depths of the misty valley. The road down the pass is gentle, and the pleasant walk seems to set off the pain just now. Suddenly I really want to know why I didn't give up just now-go back to old Yulin and ride a horse, at least lightly? As for "giving up", perhaps everyone who walks on the road has had such an idea. For me, the idea came naturally when I first walked in the snow in Aden more than ten years ago. Now, I am close to knowing my fate, my original eyesight is still declining, and my physical function is beginning to have problems. I am destined to go to the inevitable dark sea, so if I give up, I should not feel sorry or ashamed.

It is more than four o'clock in the afternoon to reach the end point of Moxigou. This is a traditional camp, ten kilometers away from tonight's cabin. Walking along the mountainside on the right side of the valley, this kind of walking with almost no ups and downs seems to be trapped in an endless time and space, which makes people extremely tired and anxious, shortness of breath, backache and swelling of calf muscles. There are only a few of us in the huge valley, and the public is a kind of loneliness that is almost isolated from everything around.

I remember who said: the most effective anti-fatigue method after a long journey is to separate body and mind, the heart does not pity the pain of the body, the body does not respond to the resentment and fear of the heart, and maintains a sleepwalking state with uniform speed and concentration. Another poem says: Listen, don't rest, don't let me rest/

Don't rest, this is the only promise I can give myself/If my feet can't walk, climb forward with my hands/If my fingers can't move, bite the snow with my teeth/If my teeth can't, walk with my eyes/

Walk with eyes, stare with eyes, walk with eyes. /I can't move my eyes, I can't do anything, I really can't move. /Just think hard and think hard.

Through the winter cattle farm and through a forest. Near dusk, we finally arrived at the ecological hut under the pass of Mayakou in Longjie, with an altitude of 4 100 meters. Tashi was invited to dinner as usual. He liked the braised duck we brought, but he was surprised when he saw the chilli shrimp. "Can bugs eat?" When I told him that this thing grew in the river like a fish, he just smiled: maybe he thought I was teasing him.

It was dark, and everyone was uncomfortable walking during the day, so they went to bed early.

Today is the last and best day of hiking. At dawn, the cold wind blows hard, and under the clear sky in the east, the unparalleled pyramid-shaped snow peaks stand proudly. This is one of the clearest mountains I have ever seen. In the blue-gray sky, those ice and snow pyramids are gray and then turn silver. Time goes by, Yun Qi, and light and shadow change rapidly. When the sun's initial light passed through the colorful clouds, it painted the peak of the snow-capped mountain with a faint golden color, and then slowly faded.

Gongga Mountain, as a king-like mountain, is surrounded by 145 Xuefeng, Zhongshanfeng, Gongzi Peak, Longshan and Jinyinshan at an altitude of five or six kilometers. ...

... surrounded by peaks, forming a huge snow mountain community.

Tashi brought bad news early in the morning: two horses scattered on the mountain last night were missing, and he had to find them quickly. Two companions who are too tired are going to ride the pass today, so now they can only grit their teeth and stick to it. The rest of the road was reversed years ago, so don't worry about getting lost. Compared with the gentle and winding west side, the east side of Mayakou, Qin Long is much steeper, and the road goes up along a waterless gully, which is clean and tidy, suitable for high-spirited climbing after a night's rest.

Through the dense bushes, it became a meadow paved with wild flowers. Turning around, Gongga Xuefeng revealed its clear face among the green hills. High above, it seems within reach.

At half past ten, I boarded the Mayakou in Qin Long. The sky is blue and the clouds are open. The snow peak in Gongga is dazzling in the sun, but it rises from the ground, despising everything and making me feel awe.

From the Dadu River Valley on the southern slope to the main peak, the distance is less than 30 kilometers, and the vertical elevation difference of Gongga Mountain is more than 6000 meters, with different scenery. Relatively speaking, it is far higher than Mount Everest, the number one in the world, and slightly lower than Nange Bawa in southeast Tibet. Similarly, if we draw a circle around it, we will find that within 600 kilometers of Fiona Fang, despite the famous Siguniang Mountain, Yala Mountain, Queer Mountain, Monster Mountain, Daocheng Mountain and even Meili Snow Mountain, Gongga Mountain still stands proudly above the peaks, which is incomparable to other mountains.

Half of it is in the sky, but Gongga Mountain gives us more opportunities to look up. Its observation deck can form a circle. From different positions, you can see different walls and ridges, rich landscapes and easy access, and half of it stays on the earth.

In Mayakou, Qin Long, we walked into a vertical sea of flowers. Lush green grass, pink licorice, pink cosmos, yellow chickweed, purple-blue gentian, light blue Polygonum cuspidatum and colorful Pedicularis spread out one by one, which was warm and complicated. A beautiful white-browed robin flies in the golden sun, leaving a shallow white trace in the transparent air. As if with a kind of beauty mixed with sweetness and sadness-we are just earthly people who have strayed into the paradise garden.

Maybe in a few days, this flower sea will be trampled clean by herdsmen's cattle. It is said that this can better ensure the abundance of pasture in the coming year. These fleeting beauties in the silent valley are closer to my superficial outlook on life: no increase, no decrease, no immortality, no attachment, no disappointment, and quietly accept everything. The Book of Tibetan Life and Death wrote: If the heart is not artificial, it is natural joy, just as water is transparent and clear if it is not stirred.

Let it go, there is no change, it can find happiness and clear truth.

I am grateful that I can come to these beautiful places. In this land with thin air, spontaneous induction to nature is easier. Of course, it is also possible that life will end quietly before we fully realize it. It doesn't matter, maybe the new life of reincarnation has already set foot on the road!

After crossing the last small bridge at three o'clock in the afternoon, we finally reached Yulong West Village at an altitude of 3,700 meters, and the hike on Gongga Mountain was over.
