The port area of Barcelona is located on the east bank of the mouth of the Llobrogos River on the northeast coast of Spain, close to the urban area and on the northwest side of the Mediterranean Sea. The statue of Columbus at the top of the memorial tower is the only statue in Spain that does not point to the American continent.
