What are the characteristics of scenic spots in Henan?

Henan is located in the hinterland of the Central Plains, with a long history, splendid culture, magnificent mountains and rivers and rich cultural and natural tourism resources. After years of unremitting efforts, Henan has entered the ranks of major tourist provinces in China, and its tourism scale and level rank among the top in the country (see Table 5-3).

Henan has a thousand-year-old ancient capital with profound food culture, and there are hundreds of star-rated hotels that can provide comfortable accommodation for tourists. The geographical advantages of convenient transportation, north-south connection and east-west connection provide convenience for tourism; Scenic spots featuring ancient capitals, famous temples and kung fu make tourists linger; All kinds of artworks and local products are dazzling; Chinese opera, martial arts, acrobatics and other entertainment projects are rich and colorful.

Zhengzhou, Kaifeng, Luoyang and Sanmenxia along the Yellow River are located in the junction of tourism development in the east and west of China, with convenient transportation, rich tourism resources and coordinated industrial system, which have obvious advantages as key tourism development areas. A well-known international and domestic golden tourist route will be built to promote the development of tourism in the province. Relying on the rich ancient cultural resources of "Three Points and One Line", we will highlight the characteristics of ancient capitals, famous temples and kung fu, and focus on developing cultural sightseeing, root-seeking worship, leisure vacation and eco-tourism projects. At the same time, Henan will focus on Taihang Mountain, Funiu Mountain and Tongbai-Dabie Mountain, vigorously develop leisure and holiday, eco-tourism and special tourism projects, and accelerate the structural adjustment of tourism products in the province.
