Two major glaciers in Yunnan

Mingyong Glacier is the largest, longest and lowest-altitude valley glacier in Yunnan Province, and it is one of the long ice in Erpo, Cavaca.

Mingyong Glacier is located under the "Cavalpo" of Meili Snow Mountain Group in Deqin County, Diqing (Shangri-La), Yunnan Province. It is a modern glacier in the low latitude tropical monsoon ocean, and the snow on the top of the mountain does not melt all year round. It is one of the most classic outdoor hiking routes in Lijiang. It is located in the low snow line, with high temperature and fast melting. It lives on precipitation, so it moves fast.

Mingyong Glacier is called "Mingyong Qia" in Tibetan. "Mingyong" is the name of the next village under the glacier, and "QIA" means glacier melt water. "Mingyong" is a brazier, named after the rolling hills and mild climate around the village.
