What Sri Lankan travel guides are worth buying in Sri Lanka?

Sri Lanka is a very beautiful place. It is an independent island country. People who travel frequently will know this place. I want to know about this country. So this place is a good existence.

Itinerary reference After preliminary exploration and planning, Sri Lanka's itinerary has basically formed a relatively inherent routine. Due to the war in the northern region, the recovery was not very good, so General Langkawi's itinerary was arranged in the central, southern and eastern regions, naturally forming a natural ring structure. As for playing clockwise or counterclockwise, it depends entirely on the individual. Of course, I think it is more scientific to play clockwise. Because Lion Mountain and Horton Plain, two places that require a lot of physical exertion, are located in the central region, if you play clockwise, you can take a walk from these two places when you are more energetic, and finally you can go back to South Beach to relax. Sri Lanka is a very beautiful place. It is an independent island country. People who travel frequently will know this place. I want to know about this country. So this place is a good existence.

So in the end, we arranged a standard clockwise trip, Colombo-Nyambu-Kandy-Nouvelle Elijah-Al-Mirissa-Galle-Colombo. Because we only have eight days, plus two days of round-trip flight, there are actually only six complete days in Langkawi, so this trip has been very substantial. If there is enough time, friends can arrange 10 days or so.

The specific itinerary is as follows

1: Shanghai-Hong Kong-Colombo-Neganpo (In order to save costs, I choose Hong Kong for a transfer. The disadvantage is that it is already 2 o'clock in the middle of the night in Colombo. )

The next day: Negombo-Elephant Orphanage-Lion Mountain-Kandy

Day 3: Foya Temple-Royal Botanical Garden-Kandy City

Day 4:-Kandy New Ilya (take the famous alpine tea garden train), and visit the tea garden in the afternoon.

Day 5:-Houghton Plain, downtown New Elia.

Day 6: Nuwolelia-Mirisha (this tea garden train was abandoned because the train was late)

Day 7: Mirissa-Galle-Colombo

Day 8: Colombo-Hong Kong-Shanghai

Regarding visas, Sri Lankan visas are currently electronic visas. You only need to provide your passport and visa fee. 1-3 working days to get an e-visa. Remember to print it out and bring it here. Specific application address: http://www.eta.gov.lk/slvisa/, the website provides Chinese service, so it is not difficult to apply.

About currency: Sri Lankan rupee is a minority currency, so it is difficult to exchange it in advance in China, and there is little RMB exchange business in the local area, so you must remember to exchange it into US dollars before you leave, and then exchange it into rupees at Colombo airport or town.

As for the socket, Longka's socket is special, that is, it is not European standard or British standard. It is a socket called South African standard, so you must remember in advance that you should buy an improved one in China. The universal adapter may not include this standard adapter. Generally speaking, hotels may provide it, but this time we are basically homestays, so we bought it in advance.

About accommodation and transportation, about transportation and public transportation: Langkawi has a relatively complete public transportation system. There are shuttle buses between major cities, with more time and frequency, and the price is very cheap. However, there is a serious problem that there is no air conditioning in the car, and it is hot and humid in Lanka almost all year round, so it is still difficult to take a long-distance bus. In particular, most of the central part is mountainous, with high temperature and continuous bends, which is easy to make people feel carsick. Therefore, if you consider a small partner who has been using the public transport system, you should make full psychological and physical preparations in advance.

Lan train: Compared with the bus, the train is relatively comfortable. Although there is no air conditioning, the air circulation in the carriage is good because it has been running. Of course, the train in Langkawi has also become an indispensable project for our tourists to experience the local culture. However, we need to remind you that if you arrange a train experience on weekends or Mondays, you need to be prepared to be squeezed into patties for three hours without a seat. (We are just like this. We want to cry. )

Tu Tu automobile: Tu Tu automobile is the most important short-distance transportation in Langkawi. All the scenic spots in the city can be solved by rabbits, but you must remember to negotiate the price with the driver before getting on the bus.

Chartered car: If the budget is sufficient, choosing chartered car is also a good choice, at least it can make the whole trip much easier and more comfortable. If you need to go to Horton Plain, chartered cars are also essential. Generally, you need to leave at 4 am, so you need to make an appointment for a chartered car in advance.

Accommodation in Sri Lanka is not very expensive. Generally, 2-300-night homestays bring breakfast, and the rooms are relatively clean. However, when booking online, be sure to check whether the room is air-conditioned. If there is no air conditioning in the room, it is basically too hot to sleep.
