There is a legend in Dong Village about Valentine's Day on March 3rd. Once upon a time there was a man and a woman named Taihe Zhou. Zhou Jiafu is rich, while the Tai family is poor. But the two of them, the love of the whole city, hit it off. In order to express her love, the woman put onions and garlic in a basket, and fish and shrimp in a basket as gifts for her lover. Although the two men jumped into the pond because of their parents' obstruction, this sad legend has been passed down to this day and evolved into a unique custom of washing onions, begging onions and fishing for fish and shrimp to give to their sweetheart.
