A composition describing Mount Huashan
Introduction: I often hear an advertising slogan called "The mountain is high and the person is the peak." I guess what it means is: no matter how high the mountain is, as long as you climb it, the person must be taller than the mountain. How to write a good composition about Huashan? Below are the essays I collected about describing Huashan. You are welcome to refer to them. Chapter 1: Climbing Mount Huashan
Mount Huashan is one of the famous Five Mountains in my country. It is called "Xiyue". It is composed of five peaks, like a lotus. In ancient times, "flower" and " "Hua" is commonly used, so it is called "Huashan".
It is said that the reason why Huashan Mountain has become one of the five famous mountains is because it is very dangerous. "Huashan Mountain has been the same road since ancient times." I half believed it. How dangerous is this Huashan Mountain? I have long wanted to experience its precipitousness.
No, a group of us got on the cable car to appreciate the steepness of Mount Huashan.
Not long after the cable car started, I could already feel the towering height of Mount Huashan. I saw that the four sides of the mountain seemed to have been split by a huge axe. The cleaved cliffs had dents formed by perennial water flow, making the entire mountain look like a huge "fossil waterfall"!
Next We took the cable car and arrived at the foot of the North Mountain of Huashan Mountain. At this time, we were already standing in the clouds, and I suddenly realized the height of Huashan Mountain.
We arrived at the foot of the West Peak of Huashan Mountain. The stone staircase in front of us was narrow and steep, which immediately gave us a disincentive. We got ready and took the first step to climb the West Peak.
After passing the "Gear Rock", a stone staircase appeared in front of us that was narrower, steeper and longer than before. Looking from a distance, there were 90-degree abyss on both sides of the stone staircase. The ladder is like the back of a dragon, and each step is like a piece of dragon phosphorus. When I was halfway up the stone staircase, I looked back. Due to the steepness of the slope, I felt like I would roll down at any time. I put on gauze gloves, grasped the chain tightly, and used my hands and feet to finally "climb" through this terrible section. Later I found out that this was called "Canglong Ridge", and the name really suited it!
Unknowingly, we climbed halfway up the mountain. Although I have always been the first, I found that with every step I took, my desire to go to Xifeng became less and less. I felt very small in front of this big mountain. It wasn’t long before I wanted to give up. "Mom...I want to go down the mountain..." I said breathlessly. "How can this work? You are number one in Nanshan!" Mom brought up the matter of "number one in Nanshan" again. When I heard this, I quickly said: "Okay, okay, I'll keep climbing!" I don't want to be the lucky first place, this time I want to be the real first place!
"Zhang Xuewei!" I looked back and saw that my good friend Wu Yizhen, who was traveling with me, was calling me. "Hey!" I responded, "Mom, when did she catch up? She was still far behind at the beginning!" "As long as you relax a little, others will catch up quietly. So, you Climb quickly!" As soon as I heard this, I ran away immediately.
After about three hours, we finally reached the top of the West Peak in a hurry. I held on to the iron rope and looked down the mountain for a bird's eye view. Cliffs were everywhere under my feet. When I looked down, my hands and feet felt weak. Looking into the distance, I saw a hazy sea of ??clouds. It turned out that we were already on top of the clouds!
I stood on the top of the West Peak and took many photos excitedly. At this time, I felt that I was no longer small, but very great, because I was the first person in our team to climb the West Peak, and I was also wearing sandals. Haha!
I finally realized the "danger" of Mount Huashan. It is indeed worthy of its name! Chapter 2: Climbing the West Peak of Mount Huashan
There are many famous peaks in China, and Mount Huashan in Xiyue is one of them. 1. On July 11, 20XX, we went hiking in Huashan Mountain. My mother and I and four other teachers went forward bravely and climbed to the top of the West Peak of Huashan Mountain.
We first took a car to the ropeway, and then took the cable car to the North Peak. Then, we walked past the Er Cliff and came to the foot of the ladder. At this time, several teachers who were walking with us felt tired. They looked into the distance and saw that the ladder they were going to take next was steep and narrow, so they gave up. Only my mother and I were left. My mother said that I was young and not strong enough and was ready to give up, but I disagreed. After a while, several more teachers came and they wanted to climb the ladder. My mother happily took me to climb the ladder with them. This ladder lives up to its name. The stone steps are high and steep, with a mountain wall on the left and a cliff on the right. I grabbed the iron railing with both hands and climbed up step by step carefully. After half an hour of trekking, we arrived at Jinsuoguan. There, I saw a sign and ran over to it. Unexpectedly, there was a sign below. I accidentally slipped and my knee happened to hit the sign below. A small piece of skin fell off and blood dripped out, but I persisted in climbing up the mountain. When many tourists saw me, they praised me for being amazing. I am so ambitious at a young age and can climb such a dangerous mountain. After walking for more than half an hour, we arrived at 20XX. The 6-meter-high West Peak of Huashan Mountain. There is the legendary place where Agarwood split the mountain to save her mother. There are two huge stones. Next to the stone stands a large ax made of copper, which is about 4 meters long. Legend has it that Agarwood used this ax to split the mountain to save her mother. . We looked out into the distance from the top of the west peak, the steep cliffs, the tree-lined mountainside...the beauty was indescribable. In order to prove and commemorate this mountain climbing, I also bought a "gold medal" to hang on my chest.
People often say: "It's easier to go up the mountain than it is to go down the mountain." This is true. Going down the mountain, I felt fine at first, not as tired as I had been when climbing. But as we walked for a long time, our legs began to tremble. My mother always held on to the railing with one hand and my hand with the other. Especially when going down the 90-degree stone staircase, she held on to my hand tightly. I also walked down cautiously, keeping my eyes on my feet, because I remembered the tour guide’s advice: “Climb the mountain without looking at the scenery, and don’t climb the mountain to look at the scenery.” Finally, the six of us descended the mountain safely.
During this mountaineering trip, I experienced the danger and beauty of Huashan Mountain. It is truly unparalleled in the world! Chapter 3: Huashan Mountain
I am very excited today because today we are going to visit Huashan Mountain! How many days do we have to visit Huashan Mountain? Hours later, we climbed Mount Huashan, rested for a while and decided to go to Xifeng first. Xifeng is the most beautiful and steep peak in Huashan Mountain. There is a boulder shaped like a lotus in front of Cuiyun Palace on the top of the peak, so Xifeng is also called Lotus Peak. The West Peak of Huashan Mountain is the place where agarwood split the mountain to rescue the Three Holy Mothers in "Lotus Lantern". Now there is a huge stone next to Cuiyun Palace that is cracked in the middle, as if it was split by an axe, so it is called "Axe Splitting Stone". There is also a long ax standing next to it. The West Peak of Huashan Mountain is a steep peak developed on the basis of the graben.
We took a few photos on the West Peak and then went to the South Peak, because the South Peak was more attractive to us than the West Peak.
Climbed the South Peak and found that it is the highest peak of Huashan Mountain. Moreover, there are pine forests in the mountains for miles, mixed with junipers and cypresses, which provide thick shade on the ground. There is Laojun Cave on the top of the South Peak, and there are two big characters "Zhenyuan" on the highest rock. In addition, there are Laozi Peak, Alchemy Furnace, and Bagua Pond on the South Peak. These scenic spots are all related to the legend of Laozi. There is Taishang Spring in the north of Laojun Cave, under the east stream, now called "Yangtian Pool", the spring water is green all year round. There is a "Nantianmen" stone square under the cliff to the east. There is also the Jintian Palace built in the Ming Dynasty on the south peak, also known as the Baidi Temple, which is dedicated to the Huashan God Shaohao. There are two scenic spots on the mountain road from Nanfeng to Dongfeng: one is the "Avoidance of Zhao Cliff", where the famous Taoist priest Chen Tuan once took refuge in a cave to avoid the emperor's conscription; the other is the Changkong Plank Road, which is surrounded by The cliff is excavated and visitors need to hold on to iron ropes and wooden railings to cross. It is another dangerous place on Huashan Mountain. I took a few photos, and then admired Xifeng from the south. The northwest side of Xifeng is as straight as a knife, and it is so empty that it is called Sheshen Cliff.
When we said goodbye to Huashan reluctantly, I began to look forward to what tomorrow would bring.
