10 1 Where is the building?

Taipei

Taipei 10 1 (Taipei1kloc-0/), formerly known as Taipei Financial Center, is a skyscraper located in Xinyi District, Taipei City, Taiwan Province Province. Designed by architect Li Zuyuan and built by KTRT team, it is the tallest skyscraper in the world (excluding antenna) and the second tallest building structure in the world (calculated by the actual height of the building structure).

Based on the actual building height, Taipei 10 1 was surpassed by the Burj Dubai (located in Dubai, United Arab Emirates) which was built on July 2 1 day, 2007. However, Burj Dubai can only be regarded as a man-made building structure rather than a skyscraper until it is officially completed or at least some manufacturers and residents move in. Therefore, Taipei 10 1 can still temporarily retain the title of the world's tallest skyscraper until a new rival completes and replaces it.

Taipei 10 1 is located in Xinyi Planning Area of Taipei Central Business District (CBD). It was developed in BOT mode. Originally, it was a financial service facility in line with the policy of "Asia-Pacific Operation Center" of the Taiwan Provincial Government of China, and later it was converted into a comprehensive commercial building.

Taipei Financial Building Company, initiated by Guo Hong Construction and other private enterprises, obtained the development right of this public land from Taipei Municipal Government in July 1997 (the land ownership still belongs to the government).1In June, 998, the then Taipei Mayor Chen Shui-bian presided over the groundbreaking ceremony.1In July, 999, the main project started. The main girder of Taipei 10 1 was put out on July 2003 1 (the main structure was completed), and the completion ceremony was presided over by then Taipei Mayor Ma Ying, and the top of the tower was completed on June 65438+ 10/7, 2003, making Taipei/kloc.

There is a six-story "skirt building" about 60 meters high next to the main building. The main plan is "Taipei 10 1 Mall", which opened on June, 2003165438+1October 4th. The opening dates of other facilities are as follows:

● Main tower (rental office): officially opened on June 5438+February 3, 20041.

● 89th floor indoor observation deck: it was put into trial operation in June 65438+1 October 65438+September, and officially put into operation in March1.

●9 1 floor outdoor observation deck: it was first opened on September 16, 2005.

Ground 10 1 floor, 5 floors underground. According to the method of judging the height of four types of buildings by CTBUH, Taipei 10 1 is the tallest skyscraper in the world among the three standards.

When the building was completed and put into use, it broke the record that:

● Building top height: 508m (1, 67 1 ft), replacing the record of 452m (1, 483ft) of the Petronas Towers in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.

● Roof height: 449.2m (1.474 ft), replacing the record of 442m (1.45 1 ft) in Sears Tower, Chicago, USA.

● Highest floor height: 439.2m (1, 44 1 ft), replacing the record of Sears Tower.

The records that have not been broken in the four items are:

● Top antenna height: This record is held by Sears Tower, and the total height including antenna is 527.3m (1 0,730ft).

In addition to CTBUH's four appraisal projects, Taipei 10 1 also has the following world first titles:

● Outdoor observation deck of the tallest building: 39 1.8m (1285ft), 9th1floor.

● The fastest elevator speed: per second16.83m (about 60km per hour).

● The biggest countdown clock on New Year's Eve.

Although Taipei 10 1 is the tallest skyscraper in the world, it is not the tallest man-made structure. According to Guinness World Records, "the tallest self-supporting building in the world" is the National Television Tower of Canada in Toronto, Canada, with a height of 553.3 meters. Like Taipei 10 1, the title of World National TV Tower was surpassed by Burj Dubai on September 12, 2007.

According to many records, the height of Taipei 10 1 building is 508.0 meters (1 667 feet), including the owner of the building. This data is measured from the height of1.2m.. However, according to the standards of High-rise Building and Urban Housing Committee (CTBUH), the height of foundation should also be included in the total height of buildings.
