Hotel star rating standard

A star-rated hotel is an accommodation facility assessed by the National (provincial) Tourism Bureau, which can provide tourists with catering and related services by night, and it must meet certain conditions and scale. The star rating obtained shows that all buildings, facilities and services of the hotel are at the same level.

the hotel rating is divided into five grades, namely, one star, two stars, three stars, four stars and five stars. The evaluation criteria are:

1. One-star hotel

is simple in equipment, with two basic functions of food and accommodation, which can meet the simplest travel needs of guests and provide basic services.

2. The two-star hotel

is generally equipped with basic facilities such as guest rooms and restaurants, as well as comprehensive service facilities such as commodity department, post and telecommunications, and hairdressing, with good service quality, low fees and economy.

3. Samsung Hotel

is well-equipped, not only providing accommodation, but also comprehensive service facilities such as meeting room, recreation hall, bar, coffee shop and beauty salon. Each room covers an area of about 2 square meters, with complete furniture, refrigerators, color televisions and so on. The service quality is good and the charging standard is high. Can meet the needs of middle-class and above tourists.

4. Four-star hotel

has luxurious equipment, perfect comprehensive service facilities, many service items, excellent service quality, exquisite indoor environment art and excellent service. This kind of hotel is usually called a first-class hotel internationally, and the fees are generally high.

5. Five-star hotel

This is the highest level of tourist hotels. The equipment is very luxurious, and the facilities are more perfect. Besides the luxurious room facilities, the service facilities are complete. Various restaurants, large-scale banquet halls, conference halls and comprehensive services are relatively complete.

Five-star hotel evaluation criteria

1. Visual inquiry services such as bills and voice mail services can be provided in guest rooms through audio-visual equipment.

2. The toilet has a drinking water system.

3. At least 5% of guest rooms have separate bathrooms and bathtubs.

4. No less than 5% of guest rooms and bathrooms have separate wet and dry areas (with independent dressing rooms).

5. All suites have separate bathrooms for the owners and visiting guests.

6. Set up a business floor, where people can check in and check out, and there is a business center and rest place for guests.

7. The rooms on the business floor have equipment for sending and receiving faxes or emails.

8. Provide guests with free in-store wireless paging service.
