Travel guide to Jiuhua Mountain in Anhui

We are all accustomed to news about tourists being ripped off by major tourist attractions, but being defrauded of money by unscrupulous attractions while traveling, not to mention the loss of money, is still quite an impact on your mood. Therefore, if you love traveling, you still need to know about these most common customer rip-off scams.

Jiuhua Mountain

1. Enter the mountain. Private cars can drive up there from Monday to Friday. It is recommended that novices take the scenic bus up the mountain. No out-of-town vehicles are allowed on the mountain during weekends. The scenic bus is 50 yuan per person for a return trip (don’t trust private cars to take you up). After arriving at Jiuhua Street, you can continue to take the rooftop bus for free once. Don’t be guided by private cars along the way and waste your money. Private cars in the parking lot at the foot of the mountain are 3 yuan per day. Of course, you can also choose to park on the side of the road for free, but you are at your own risk.

2. Food and accommodation in the scenic spot. The word "expensive" is that I am from Huangshan. I personally feel that it is more expensive than the one I picked up manually at the Huangshan Scenic Area icon. Accommodation prices vary widely. Generally, private hotels range from 100 to 300, and the environment is just that clean. B&Bs range from 400 to 800, and the environment is acceptable. Because I am traveling as a family with four adults and one child. I booked a B&B suite for 500. For one night, the accommodation was so-so.

It is recommended that young people live at the foot of the mountain and take a one-day trip the next day. Families or the elderly can stay for one night and choose standard accommodation based on economic conditions. Regarding the food, I really want to complain about this. The disposable tableware is very dirty, and all the restaurants in the scenic area are monopolized by a cleaning company. When I asked the boss, he also looked helpless. The prices of dishes in various restaurants are similar. The ingredients can only be considered average and the prices are slightly expensive. For example, vegetarian noodles cost 15 yuan, regular beef noodles cost 30 yuan a night, and steamed buns cost 3 yuan each. The ingredients are very unhealthy and taste very bad. #九华山# #游# For me, there is really no need to make it so expensive for a scenic spot where the transport vehicle can go directly to the mountain. A bottle of Sprite costs 3 yuan. It sells for 7 yuan on Jiuhua Street. It’s really expensive. It’s about the same as the artificial mountain jumping in Huangshan Scenic Area.

3. Pray for blessings in scenic spots. Most of the temples for praying are near Jiuhua Street. Except for the rooftop, which is a bit far away (you need to take the ropeway to the rooftop), you can visit it if you have plenty of time. At present, it is strictly prohibited to burn incense beyond the standard in the scenic area, and each temple provides three sticks of incense for free. You can choose the cable car to go up the mountain from Centennial Palace icon, and the one-way fare is 45 yuan. Currently, in addition to cash donations, various temples also support payment via mobile phone scanning. The monks in each temple should be full-time staff. If you are not a devout believer, you can just take a look at the 99-meter Ksitigarbha Bodhisattva icon at the foot of the mountain. There is no need to spend money to go in and see it.

Overall feeling. Just pray at Jiuhua Mountain. If you want to see the scenery, there is no need. If you don’t have a family to take care of, a one-day trip is enough.
