Tibet's well-preserved ancient villages are little known and hidden in valleys.

an ancient village refers to a village with unique folk customs, which has been serving people for a long time. There are many beautiful ancient villages in Tibet. As the most completely protected ancient village in Tibet, the biggest feature is "antiquity". Ancient village tribes, ancient roads, ancient trees, ancient manors, ancient temples and ancient myths and legends abound, revealing mysterious traces of history and years everywhere.

Cuogao Village

Located at the northeast end of Basongcuo Lake, there is a village embedded in the snow-capped mountains and green waters, where there are more than 1 industrial and cloth Tibetan families. What is different is that this village has completely preserved the traditional Tibetan houses with semi-wood, semi-stone and all-stone structures, and all the houses in the village have a history of more than a hundred years. The alleys between the villages are winding and secluded, and the Mani stone piles and prayer flags scattered in the village, as well as the surrounding snow-capped mountains, sacred lakes and ancient myths passed down from mouth, have become a rich spiritual world here. The fertile pasture wetlands provide them with a living space. Having said that for so long, this ancient village is Cuogao Village. Although it is close to the famous tourist scenic spot Basongcuo, due to its deep location and difficult roads, Cuogao Village is still rarely visited by tourists, and most of the villagers live a quiet life in this paradise-like land, continuing to write about the ancient history of Gongbu Tibetans.

Laigu Village

In Ranwu Town, basu county, Changdu, there is an original and beautiful Tibetan village-it's called Gu, a poor place. On the way to Tibet, many people know about Ranwu Lake and Laigu Glacier, but few people know that Laigu Village, an unknown small village, is hidden here. It is located between the snow-capped mountains, surrounded by six glaciers and accompanied by Ranwu Lake, which has the reputation of "Southwest Yaochi". Chinese national geography once praised it as "the most beautiful village". Although Laigu Village is as high as 4,3 meters above sea level, it is surrounded by a large area of virgin forest, and there is more oxygen than other areas at the same altitude. The wind blows from the glacier, which is moist and cool. Standing here, you can see six marine glaciers, which are unique in China and even in the world. It is an excellent place to watch glaciers in China. Laigu Village is not big, and the villagers live in scattered places. Although it is at the foot of the glacier, it is a idyllic building, a Buddhist pagoda and a sacred place.

Near Wenbu Nancun is the location of the palace of Xiangxiong ancient country.

Tuiwa Village

Tuiwa Village belongs to Dalong Town, Langkazi County, Lhasa, Tibet. The scenery here is very beautiful, backed by the snow-capped Himalayas, straight into the sky, facing Pumu Yongcuo Lake, which is blue and clear and beautiful. Tuiwa village is about 5 meters above sea level, which is the highest village in the world, and its oxygen content is only half that of the plain. In the midsummer every year, the chicken claw valley here grows in pieces, and Huang Chengcheng is like a flower, which makes this distant town bright and quiet. The town is located at the northern foot of the Himalayas, in Dingjie County, Shigatse region, adjacent to Nepal, and known as the last "island" on land in China.
