What to wear in Thailand in winter?

There is no winter in Thailand.

Thailand has three seasons: hot season, rainy season, and cool season. The temperature is highest from February to May, with an average of 32°C to 38°C, which is called the "hot season"; from June to late October, it is the "rainy season", with the average temperature remaining around 28°C; and the "cool season" is in November By January of the following year, the average temperature is 19℃-26℃.

There are indeed cooler times near the mountainous areas in northern Thailand. The local Meteorological Department revealed that Chiang Rai, Nan, Nakhon Phanom and Sakon Nakhon will experience partial cold weather from December this year to January next year. The temperature on the ground will be as low as 7-8 degrees Celsius, especially on the mountain tops, where frost may occur multiple times.

What to wear in Thailand in winter?

1. Clothes: Spring and summer clothes are sufficient. Wear brightly colored tropical-style clothes to blend into the environment and give people a holiday feeling.

2. Jacket: After looking at the temperature above, some friends may be wondering whether they should wear a thicker jacket? It is still recommended. Firstly, the temperature difference between morning and evening is relatively large. Secondly, the indoor air conditioner will be turned on at a relatively low temperature. A slightly thicker jacket can avoid catching cold.

3. Swimsuit: Girls must bring a bikini. After all, taking beach photos in winter is a wonderful thing.

4. Long skirt: It is recommended that girls bring a long skirt or trousers that can cover their feet. A major feature of Thailand is the temples. When visiting temples, shorts or short skirts are not allowed. You can't even wear shoes that expose your feet.

5. Shoes: Because you spend a lot of time on the beach, flip-flops are the most commonly used. For travel shoes, it is recommended to choose better breathable shoes, which will be more comfortable to wear.
