The best time to travel to Xi'an is September and October, when the climate is more suitable. Generally, the peak tourist season in Xi'an is from March to November each year, and the off-season is from November to March of the following year. July and August are relatively shoulder seasons because of the heat. Each tourist attraction also implements different gate prices according to the low and peak tourist seasons.
