Tourism in Yunyan District

As of 2011, there are 69 cultural relics protection units in Yunyan District, of which 2 are listed as national key cultural relics protection units, 6 are listed as provincial-level cultural relics protection units, and 19 are listed as national key cultural relics protection units. Municipal cultural relics protection unit; in the third national cultural relics census, 35 new cultural relics were discovered in the district.

Scenic spots in Yunyan District include Qianling Park, which is dominated by Qianling Mountain, the "No. 1 mountain in southern Guizhou". Within the park is the Hongfu Temple built during the Kangxi period of the Qing Dynasty. There is Qilin Cave on the northern slope of the mountain. During the Anti-Japanese War, Chiang Kai-shek imprisoned patriotic generals Zhang Xueliang and Yang Hucheng here. The historic sites within the territory include the Yangyin Temple, which was built in the 19th year of Jiaqing in the Qing Dynasty (1841), and the Wenchang Pavilion, which was built in the 37th year of Wanli in the Ming Dynasty (1609) and is located on the bank of Fufeng Mountain in the Qing Dynasty. It is a spire building with three stories and nine angles and unequal angles; there is a holy spring built in the Yongle period of the Ming Dynasty (1403) located in the mountains on the west bank of Qianling Lake. The spring rises and falls with intervals, making it a spectacle. The revolutionary memorial sites within the jurisdiction include: Guizhou Underground Party Working Committee of the Communist Party of China, Eighth Route Army Office, Xinhua Daily Guiyang Distribution Office, Anti-Japanese War Martyrs Monument, etc.
