It is also the tallest building in Hengshan Mountain, surrounded by Jade Emperor Pavilion, Royal Monument Pavilion, Qinqi Terrace and Tongyuan Valley. One-day tour is the main way to visit Hengshan Scenic Area. In the morning, you can visit the Hanging Temple, an ancient temple with a thousand years' history, hanging on the mountainside under Cuiping Peak, then visit the Taoist buildings in Tianfengling, four or five kilometers away, and climb to the top of Tianfengling to see the distance. Mount Hengshan is not difficult to climb. The general tour route is: Daziwan-Hufengkou-Sheshen Cliff-Fei Grottoes-Hengzong Temple-Tianfengling Peak, and it takes about 3-4 hours to climb the mountain.

Introduction of surrounding attractions: Hengshan Mountain in Beiyue-Jiutian Palace (600 meters): Jiutian Palace in Hengshan Mountain is a courtyard among many temples in Hengshan Mountain. Its architectural structure is rigorous and elegant, a bit like a quadrangle. There are front halls, upper halls, corridors, terraces, etc. The nine-day empress in the palace is enshrined in the wall. The statue of Jiutian Niangniang is dignified and vivid. It is worth mentioning that many poems praising Hengshan are engraved on the courtyard wall, which is worth reading.

Zhenwu Temple (700 meters): Zhenwu Temple is the first stop to climb Hengshan Mountain on foot from the parking lot. It is dedicated to the Zhenwu Emperor (that is, the Xuanwu Emperor, the god of northern Xuanwu). When you come to Hengshan Mountain, you always have to burn incense first (then there is Zhenyuan Hall on the mountain, or you can burn incense).

Hanging Temple (1 km): I'm glad you came here with admiration. From a distance, the location is very strange, especially standing in the position of Li Baiti's "spectacular" stone carving, and the visual effect is much more shocking than in the documentary. After boarding the ship, it is basically a one-way street, so you can only go with the flow, but the temple is not big, so you can visit it in half an hour. Hengshan Mountain can't go, and Hanging Temple can't be missed.

Hengshan Reservoir (1.4 km): Hengshan Reservoir is blocked by a high dam, which usually drains water in the form of waterfall. It was frozen in winter and went to a spectacular ice waterfall, which was an unexpected gain of this trip. Ice waterfalls are very similar to stalactites, and perhaps the physical formation process is similar.

The scenery of Mount Hengshan is not in the mountains, and there is no water. It's just that its religious buildings, represented by the Hanging Temple, are mostly built in the concave part of the cliff, which is very interesting.
