Ertan Reservoir is a huge artificial lake formed by the construction of Ertan Hydropower Station. Before the treatment, people in Yumen Town, the tail water area of Ertan Reservoir put cages in the water to raise fish. At its peak, the output was very considerable, and it was known as one of the three freshwater fish breeding bases in China. The annual Flower and Fish Festival held in Yumen Town is very lively, and fish merchants from all over the country come here to discuss cooperation.

Fish culture in cages depends on artificial feeding. The flowing river will flow the bait thrown into the cage outside the cage, attracting wild fish in the reservoir area to compete for food outside the cage.

Cage fish farmers saw business opportunities and developed another way to make money.

They use floating objects such as empty petrol cans or foam to make a raft platform (there is a house in the center that can shelter from the wind and rain) and charge a certain fee for fishermen to use. Fishermen fish on such platforms, and most of them gain a lot.

I know a little friend. A few years ago, he and a friend went fishing on the raft platform in the reservoir area. They went to the raft platform on Friday night and left on Sunday night, catching about 150 Jin of wild river fish. On the way, it was sold to a restaurant specializing in fish at a low price of per catty 10 yuan, and everyone got more than 700 yuan.

There are many similar legends, which have attracted many fishermen to try their hand in Ertan reservoir area.

We went fishing in Ertan.

This weekend, several of our friends met to go fishing in Yumen Town, the tail water area of Ertan Reservoir Area. It rained heavily when we set out on Friday afternoon. Our car drove on the rainy mountain road for two hours, and finally arrived at the farmhouse in the tail water of the reservoir area, which provided accommodation for anglers. The heavy rain continued, so the planned night fishing had to be postponed until the next day.

A few years ago, in order to protect the cleanliness of water resources in the Yangtze River, Panzhihua City carried out a comprehensive clean-up of cage fish culture according to national requirements. Now there are no fish cages in the whole reservoir area. Therefore, we can only fish on the river bank.

The next morning, after a night of heavy rain, it finally stopped. We took the equipment to the fishing ground by the river. There are already fishing friends fishing around. A person fished all night and caught about 5 or 6 Jin of fish, mainly small fish such as crucian carp and Luo Fei. On the eve of the fisherman's departure, he caught another big carp weighing about 6 or 7 kilograms, which made the fishermen around him envious.

Soon, we also spread out the battlefield. After finishing a series of actions, such as laying the nest and lowering the hook, our eyes were fixed on the fish floating on the water. Every little friend wants his float to be blacked out by big fish (fishing jargon means that fish can't see it when they pull down the water) and then pull it up by themselves.

To our dismay, most floats don't make much noise. Only the small fish kept biting the bait. In the process of lifting the pole, several friends frequently hooked the weeds and branches at the bottom of the water, and the fishing line of about 10 was broken as a result.

After noon, the situation of not eating fish began to change. We caught small fish one by one. I caught a small tilapia first, with a bulging stomach, obviously full of bait we dropped. We predict that the big fish will come soon.

Sure enough, there was a black floating object on a fishing rod of the next friend, and he hurried to get the fishing rod and pull it. Just then, his other fishing rod quickly bleached black, and with a whoosh, the fishing rod was dragged into the water by the big fish and floated to the center. This change makes us very anxious.

My friend's fishing rod is very expensive. It's a pity to lose it. He hurriedly rowed a boat parked by the river to catch up. After a long chase, I finally caught up with it. He picked up the fishing rod, and the fish was still on it, struggling in the water, and the fishing rod was bent. We are looking forward to pulling the big fish ashore. But in less than two minutes, the fishing line could not bear the double pull of the fishing boat and the big fish, and it broke with a clash, which frustrated our desire for a good meal. Fortunately, the fishing rod is back.

In the following period of time, big fish frequently appeared. Another little friend's fishing line was abruptly broken three times, so we had to look at the fish and sigh.

As a novice fisherman, my luck seems to be good. After Ronaldinho opened, I caught eight crucian carp, Ronaldinho and white stripes one after another, and won the championship that day. It's just that the fish is too small, which makes me feel ashamed and a little embarrassed.

After fishing all day, several of our friends didn't catch any big fish. Before dinner, when I was about to throw the caught fish back into the water, my little friend who had broken three fishing lines earlier appeared black drift. He quickly pulled it, and the people next to him used the net to help, and finally invited the carp weighing two or three pounds to the shore.

When a large basin of milky white fish soup was served on the table, the fragrance was overflowing for a while. After friends tasted it, they found the fish delicate and sweet, and the soup was delicious. Eating their own river fish and drinking local wine, friends are very happy!

After dinner, we went to the riverside fishing ground again, expecting a better harvest.

When it was getting dark, we took out the night light we bought in advance and put it on. Other fishing friends around have also changed into luminous floats. The fishing friend next to me is actually a luminous fishing rod, which looks higher than ours.

In the dark night without moonlight, the luminous lights of fishing friends near and far float on the river like colorful lanterns, which is really beautiful. The luminous float floats up and down with the fluctuation of water and the touch of fish. Once the light disappeared in the water, the fisherman immediately pulled up the fish. I admire the ingenuity of the inventor, so that fishermen can fish freely at night.

Unfortunately, fish don't eat well when fishing at night. Only the friend who caught the big carp caught two tilapia among us, and the rest of our friends became air force. The same is true of other fishing friends around. At ten o'clock in the evening, it was going to rain. After fishing all night, we collected our poles and went back to the farmhouse to sleep.

A few hours later, it rained cats and dogs.

The next morning, the rainstorm continued. We drove to Yumen Town, ate the famous Yanbian mutton rice noodle in a mutton rice noodle shop called Yina, and then drove back to Renhe.

During this trip to Ertan Reservoir, every partner achieved the goal of catching fish, and we also ate our own fish. Although there are not many fish caught, different experiences bring us different experiences. Fishing in the wild nature, with its picturesque scenery, brings us a really cool experience, which is far from being compared with fishing in a fish pond.
