Tourism resources in Tunzi town

1From March to August, 937, the Red Army assisted the Red Fourth Army affiliated to the West Road Army to enter Tunzi Town; 1948 The battle of Xifu Longdong commanded by Peng-the battle of Tunzi Town happened here. Within its jurisdiction, there is the Tunzi Revolutionary Martyrs Cemetery, which is a patriotic education base in zhenyuan county and a party history education base in China.

Sun Pool is located 9 kilometers east of Tunzi Town, in the territory of Sun Village. The water surface of the pond is about 970 meters long and the average width is about 250 meters. The deepest water level is14.5m, and the total storage capacity is 2180,000 m3. It is said that the solar pool has existed for thousands of years. The town government cooperated with merchants to carry out preliminary development, and plans to build an eco-tourism agricultural development zone integrating planting and breeding, ecological protection, tourism and leisure entertainment with the Sun Pool as the center.

The eco-tourism in Tunzi Town is booming. There are two "three pools" in Zhenyuan, namely Taiyangtan and Baimatan, which are natural ponds with beautiful scenery, with a water area of more than 300 mu. The Sun Pool Eco-tourism Development Zone, which was built in 2003, has the reputation of "the plateau comes out of the Pinghu Lake, the first scenic spot in Longdong" and is a resort for summer vacation, tourism, entertainment and leisure. Martyrs Cemetery (the former site of the April 8th Campaign) is a patriotic education base in the county and a party history education base in China. There are also many provincial-level cultural relics protection units in the town, such as Kawaguchi Site, Duanjiaping Site and Wanggou Site.
