Japanese study abroad program

What are the application procedures and procedures for studying in Japan?

If you find a suitable sponsor (China, Japanese or other nationalities) and choose the Japanese language school you want to attend, you can start applying for studying in Japan.

The procedure is divided into two parts: first, Japanese schools applying for admission; Apply for an entry visa after receiving the admission notice from a Japanese school.

The application form of a Japanese language school (called "application for admission" in Japanese) can be collected by a guarantor or friend living in Japan and then mailed to the applicant. Another way is for the applicant to write directly and ask for it from the school. Procedures for applying for admission to Japanese schools.

After getting permission to enter the park, the next step is to apply for an entry visa.

There are two ways to apply for an entry visa: first, the applicant applies to the Japanese embassy or consulate in his original place of residence; Another way is for the guarantor to apply to the Japan Immigration Bureau, and after passing the examination and approval, send the approval certificate back to the applicant, and the applicant will obtain a visa from the local Japanese embassy. Details of these two application procedures are as follows:

(1) The applicant shall go through the application formalities at his original place of residence.

After collecting the following documents and travel documents, the applicant will send them to the Japanese embassy in the original place of residence for approval.

(1) Admission Permit

② Application Form (student visa form designated by Japanese embassy or consulate)

③ Copy of graduation certificate

(4) Letter of guarantee from the guarantor (called "body guarantee letter" in Japanese), the first item is to guarantee the living expenses of the applicant in Japan; The second item is the cost for the applicant to return to China. )

⑤ ID card of the guarantor (if the guarantor is Japanese, a "resident ticket" issued by the local government must be submitted; If the guarantor is a foreigner living in Japan, a copy of the "foreigner registration certificate" is required. )

⑥ Income certificate of guarantor (tax payment certificate issued by tax department or service organization)

⑦ 2 photos (recent bareheaded photos of the applicant)

(8) The applicant's passport or valid travel document.

After receiving the applicant's documentary proof, the Japanese embassy or consulate will submit supplementary documents (such as the guarantor's "guarantee reason") if it thinks it is insufficient. If all goes well, the staff of the embassy or consulate will tell us how long it will take for the approval.

After the approval is completed and the visa is issued, the embassy or consulate will inform the applicant to apply for a visa at the visa office.

(2) The applicant entrusts the guarantor to handle the application procedures in Japan.

The applicant may entrust a guarantor to apply for a Japanese visa. Because the examination and approval of foreign students' visas is the responsibility of the Immigration Bureau, Japanese embassies and consulates abroad, after receiving the documents and materials of the applicants, also send them back to the Immigration Bureau for review, and then inform the embassies and consulates of the results. Taking the guarantor as the agent, applying directly in Japan, in a sense, reduces the official correspondence.

The documents and certificates required for the client to go through the entry visa formalities in Japan are similar to (1). As long as the certificates and documents from ① to ⑥ are collected (the tourist certificate of the applicant in the eighth paragraph is not needed for the time being), you can go through the application formalities at the examination section of the Immigration Bureau.

If all goes well, after two to three weeks, the Immigration Bureau will issue a "pre-trial end certificate" to the guarantor of this institution. Send it back to the applicant by the guarantor. The latter takes the travel documents and photos of the "certificate of final examination in advance" to the local Japanese embassy or consulate, fills in the designated visa application form, and submits it to the visa department together to obtain the visa immediately.

Among them, the Japanese proficiency required for the visa is as follows:

1. If a university (except Japanese major) wants to receive Japanese as a medium for teaching or research guidance, its Japanese proficiency must have a Japanese proficiency test level 2 or above (the study time is not less than 600 hours) or a Japanese study abroad test (the total score of Japanese reading comprehension, listening comprehension and listening comprehension) of 200 or above.

2. Japanese majors and Japanese education institutions: equivalent to having the "Japanese Proficiency Test" Band 4 (the study time is not less than 150 hours).

3. Students in specialized schools (except those who simply accept Japanese educators): they have passed Grade 2 of Japanese Language Proficiency Test or scored 200 points in Japanese study abroad test (total score of Japanese reading, listening and reading comprehension) or have received Japanese education in Japanese educational institutions designated by the announcement of the Japanese Minister of Justice for more than 6 months, or have received 1 years in schools (except kindergartens) specified in Article 1 of the School Education Law.

In Japan, the study visa has the following advantages over the study visa:

1) enjoys national economic insurance, and once an international student falls ill, the individual only needs to bear 6% of the medical expenses;

2) students can get a half-price discount on transportation fees with their study visa;

3) Excellent schools, whether born in April or June at 5438+00, can get a two-year study visa, which avoids the trouble of renewal;

4) After graduation, you can enter the university or go directly to the school's major according to your actual situation.
