The Jinghua Bus I want to talk about today is such a "rich second generation".

At the beginning of 1956, Beijing Public Bureau changed the third branch of the auto repair shop responsible for truck overhaul into a trolley bus manufacturing and distribution factory. In order to strengthen the technical force, more than 150 technical backbones have been transferred from Shanghai Fu You Automobile Body Factory and other units to join our team.

In the same year, the trolley bus factory adopted Jiefang CA- 10 chassis, and in June of 10 and June of 17, a trolley bus named BK540 was developed according to the body structure and skeleton girders of Skoda and Ica Lu Si.

1Feb. 957, BK540 was put into operation.

In 65438+February of the same year, the trolley bus factory also liberated the CA 10 chassis and trial-produced the Type 57 bus, namely BK640. BK640 adopts an all-metal load-bearing body with a length of 8.5 meters and a passenger capacity of 75 people. From the mass production of 1958 to the discontinuation of 1974, a total of 1549 vehicles were produced.

1958 10, Beijing Tramwork Factory developed BK560 articulated trolley bus, which is also called Dajing because its appearance is similar to BK540, but its body is longer. This is also the first articulated trolley bus in China.

Since then, the trolleybus factory has also introduced products such as BK64 1 double-row coach and BK650 articulated bus.

It is worth mentioning that during the three-year difficult period, due to the tight supply of gasoline, some buses in Beijing switched to gas fuel and installed large gas storage bags on the roof, commonly known as "atmospheric bags". This has also become the memory of a generation.

In the same period, the trolley bus manufacturing and distribution factory was transformed into the fourth factory of Beijing Automobile Repair Company, and BK65 1 Yellow River diesel bicycle (1965), BK640B (1970) and BK663 gasoline bicycle (197 1 0) were successively developed. BK645 (198 1 year), BK652 (1982) bicycles and other products.

Among them, BK65 1 Huanghe bus is the first diesel bus in China, and BK6 1 is the earliest articulated bus with internal combustion engine in China.

BK6920 single bike (1989) and Bk6140/Bk6141989 all bear the trademark of Jinghua brand. As early as 1972, Hongye brand bus was born.

Since then, Beijing Bus General Factory has continued to "monopolize" the capital bus passenger transport market, with a market share of 70%! The annual output also increased steadily, with 65,438 1.785 large and medium-sized buses and trucks and 995 1.2 1.5939 vehicles. It has formed four series of diesel, gasoline, mixed fuel and clean fuel, with more than 10 varieties and more than 100 models, including station wagons, group cars, buses, luxury buses, deformation vehicles and special vehicles.

By the end of 1998, the products of Beijing Bus General Factory had covered 2/kloc-0 provinces, municipalities and autonomous regions in China, and were also exported to many countries such as Asia, Africa and Latin America. But most of its products are digested locally in Beijing.

As a subsidiary of Beijing Public Transport Corporation, Beijing Public Transport General Factory can live comfortably by internal procurement. However, such a situation has also killed the fighting spirit and made enterprises lose their sense of crisis and judgment, so that they have been focusing on the bus market and failed to grasp the pulse of the market and expand their scale.

After entering the 2 1 century, with the gradual opening of Beijing public transport system to the market and increasingly fierce competition, Beijing Public Transport General Factory began to face a severe test.

During this period, the main products of Beijing Bus General Factory are Jinghua brand BK6 100CNG, BK6820K, BK6850C city buses, BK610/,BK6920G? Bus, BK6 1 15K, BK6800CK? Tourist bus, BK6 1 16K luxury tourist bus, BK6 120C? Coach, BK6 126 double-deck air-conditioning sightseeing bus, BK6 160K, BK6 180CNG? Articulated buses and century stars? BK6800？ City bus, car ferry, AB300-33K apron passenger transport, etc.

It is worth mentioning that 1998, Beijing Public Transport General Factory developed the first pure natural gas city bus BK61CNG in China, and in 2002, together with Beijing Institute of Technology, developed the first pure electric city bus BK6 120EV in China.

In June 2003, on the basis of Beijing Bus General Factory, Beijing Jinghua Bus Co., Ltd. was established and began to operate as a company. But it's still the same

During this period, Jinghua Bus successively launched BK6 122, BK6 150 series and other products. However, due to the intensification of market competition, the sales volume and market share of Jinghua bus have been losing ground.

In 2008, Jinghua announced the transformation of tourist buses, and planned to put them into production on June 5438+ 10 in 2009, with an annual output of 6,000 vehicles, and the estimated sales revenue exceeded 1 100 million yuan.

If the plan can be implemented smoothly, perhaps Jinghua can still occupy a place in the strong bus market.

However, with the merger of Beijing Public Transport Group and BAIC Holdings in May 2009, everything went up in smoke. All the bus production business of Jinghua Bus was transferred to Beiqi Futian, and the rest were transformed into bus maintenance service companies.

In the midst of great joy and great sorrow, Jinghua Bus withdrew from the historical stage.
