Recommended tourist attractions in Baoji

The scenic spots that Baoji must visit include Jintaiguan, Jiucheng Palace, the source scenic spot of Jialing River, the Qin Mausoleum of Datang and Tongtianhe National Forest Park.

1, Jintai Temple:

Jintaiguan, located at No.42 Jintai Lane, Jintai District, Baoji City, Shaanxi Province, is located on the east slope of Lingyuan. It is an ancient cave-style Taoist temple complex with loess plateau flavor and national characteristics. It was built at the end of Yuan Dynasty and the beginning of Ming Dynasty.

Some of the existing buildings are the remains of the proportional pattern in the Ming and Qing Dynasties, and they are one of the birthplaces of China Taoists' Wutangmen Palace Temple, the ancestor of Wutangmen, Zhang Sanfeng Zhenren Ancestral Temple, Sanfeng Tai Ji Chuan and Neijiaquan.

2. Jiuchenggong:

Jiuchenggong, located in linyou county New Town, Baoji City, Shaanxi Province, was built in February of the 13th year of Wendi and completed in March of the 15th year of Wendi. Formerly known as Renshou Palace, it is Wendi's divorce palace. Emperor Taizong's Zhenguan was rebuilt and expanded in five years and renamed Jiucheng Palace. Ninetowns means nine floors or nine floors, which means very high.

Tang Gaozong once changed its name to Wannian Palace, which means "One and Long Life", and later restored its original name. In the Tang Dynasty, Wei Zhi and Ou Yangxun wrote a monument to the inscription of Liquan in Jiucheng Palace. This inscription has a great influence on the history of calligraphy in China.

3. The source scenic spot of Jialing River:

The source scenic spot of Jialing River is located in the southern suburb of Baoji City, Shaanxi Province, at the top of Qinling Mountain, 33 kilometers away from Sichuan-Shaanxi Highway. It is one of the four scenic spots in Tiantai Mountain National Forest Park, with a total area of 3,600 hectares. The famous Jialing River originates from the Jialing River Valley at an altitude of more than 2,800 meters.

Newly developed scenic spots, Shenhe Gorge, deep valleys of orchids, winding paths of dragons, criss-crossing ponds and waterfalls, abound, with rich vegetation, quiet birds and good humanities in the south of the Yangtze River. So far, if you want to visit here, you want to be a Shan Ye person and be in the middle reaches of the plain clothes valley.

4. The Tang Qin Mausoleum:

The mausoleum of the First Qin Emperor in the Tang Dynasty is located at the top of the park on the north slope of Baoji City, Shaanxi Province, only 2.5 kilometers away from the urban area, and it is an AAA-level scenic spot in Baoji City. The Qin Mausoleum has a mausoleum where Li, the king of Qin in the Tang Dynasty, was buried with his wife, and there are two rare underground palaces of Empress Dowager Cixi in China. The development area of Qin tomb is more than 80 mu, which consists of mountain gate, Shinto, sacrificial hall, praying hall and two underground palaces.

On the 150-meter-long Shinto, there are 34 stone carvings of the Tang Dynasty, which are arranged into 15 groups according to the ritual ceremony of the emperor going to the palace before his death. Among the two underground palaces with a length of120m and a depth of 20m respectively, there is a well-preserved ancient building with an underground cornice carved with blue bricks and a width of 4m.

5. Tongtianhe National Forest Park:

Tongtianhe National Forest Park is located in Tangzang Town, Fengxian County, southwest of Baoji City, Shaanxi Province, at the southern foot of Qinling Mountains, 90km away from Baoji City, 4 1km away from Fengxian County and 3 1km away from Bao Han Highway. The park covers an area of 5235 hectares. The terrain is high in the northwest and low in the southeast, with the highest elevation of 2738.7m and the lowest elevation of1580m. The forest coverage rate is 98.6%, and it has a vast natural forest vegetation landscape.
