Current legal status of cruise ships in China

The cruise industry is a comprehensive sunrise industry composed of transportation, tourism, cruise manufacturing, cruise port services, leisure and entertainment and other industries. The cruise industry has unique multi-field composite attributes, which makes the development of the cruise industry greatly contribute to promoting supply-side reform and achieving high-quality development under the current new normal of my country's economic downward pressure. However, due to the short development time of the cruise industry in my country, there are many restrictive factors in further promoting the maturity and upgrading of the cruise industry. Therefore, this article starts from the three major components of the cruise industry: cruise manufacturing, cruise tourism, and cruise ports, draws on the development and regulatory experience of the U.S. cruise industry, discusses the legal issues that exist in the development process of my country's cruise industry, and then proposes the development of my country's cruise industry. Legal advice. This article is divided into four parts. The first part introduces the legal definition of cruise, the legal concept of the cruise industry and its legal attributes. The cruise industry is a comprehensive industry with cruise ships as the core. It has the attributes of compositeness, public-private integration, orderliness and internationality. The second part introduces the experience of the development of the cruise industry in the United States that our country can learn from, and provides ideas and guidance for the development of our country's cruise industry. The third part analyzes the development status of my country's cruise industry and existing legal issues. my country's cruise industry has problems such as loopholes in the management mechanism, lack of promotion mechanisms, lack of overall planning for the cruise industry, and lack of legislation and regulations related to the development of the cruise industry. The fourth part puts forward legal suggestions for the development of the cruise industry in my country. Four suggestions are put forward to address the legal issues existing in the development of my country's cruise industry. First, the management mechanism of the cruise industry should be innovated; secondly, a cruise industry promotion mechanism should be constructed; thirdly, the overall planning of the cruise industry should be improved; finally, it is recommended to prepare a cruise industry promotion law as soon as possible to meet the legal needs of the development of my country's cruise industry.
