What are the famous attractions in Poyang Lake in Jiangxi Province?

Poyang Lake is the largest freshwater lake in my country. It was called "Penglize" and "Gongting Lake" in ancient times. Poyang Lake has vast waters and is known as the "four hundred miles of Poyang Lake and its eight hundred miles of shore". The lakeside land is fertile and the products are abundant. It is a famous land of fish and rice in my country.

The famous scenic spots in the lake area include: Ziyangti, Luoxingdun, Lakeside Beach, Flame Mountain, Laoye Temple, Poyang Lake Migratory Bird Sanctuary, etc.

Ziyangti: It is a dam made of granite. It was built by Zhu Xi in the Song Dynasty when he was the Southern Governor. Because Zhu Xi was named "Ziyang", the local people named it "Ziyangti" in memory of him.

Luoxingdun: Located in the lake two kilometers south of Xingzi County, stop at Luoxing Temple and overlook the beautiful scenery of Mount Lu in the distance and the beautiful scenery of Pohu Lake up close, with leaping golden scales and flying egrets. The pastoral poet Tao Yuanming once said that The scene of returning to the fields, "The boat is rocking and rising gently, and the wind is blowing" seems to be vaguely visible.

Lakeside Beach: Take a speedboat from Luoxingdun to the southeast for 8 minutes. What comes into view is the endless "Ten Miles Golden Beach". The slope here is flat, the sand is fine, and the sunshine is abundant. It is a very good place for sunbathing, sand bathing, and lake bathing.

Flaming Mountain: Located in the lake eight kilometers northeast of the tourist pier, the rocks composed of sandy gravel are in various forms, with different shapes and are red, so the local people should call this scene "Flaming Mountain". When you are in it, you can't help but admire the wonders of nature, and enjoy the mysterious, quiet and fairyland-like beauty.

Laoye Temple: also known as "Xianying Palace". The water area in front of the Laoye Temple is known as "China's Bermuda". The rapid water flow and complex hydrogeological conditions add a mysterious color to the Laoye Temple.

Poyang Lake Migratory Bird Sanctuary: Take a boat from the tourist pier to the south forty kilometers to the migratory bird viewing area. From November to March every year, water flows out of the beach, and the vast grasslands and lakes become the most ideal habitat for various types of overwintering birds. When the migratory birds fly in, they cover the sky and the sun, creating a spectacular scene. Therefore, the Poyang Lake Migratory Bird Area is listed as a "World Class A Migratory Bird Sanctuary".
