Tourist resources in Tantoushan

The Grand Palace is the largest natural village in Tantoushan, located at the southernmost tip of Tantou Island. Hundreds of small buildings are arranged in an orderly manner on the gentle hillside next to the sea. Looking out from the village, you can have a panoramic view of the vast ocean. Near the sea area, there are many small seafood. Most of the residents in the village have moved in, and occasionally friends come from afar. The old people who guard the village will naturally treat you warmly. Although you can't find a luxurious atmosphere here, the sea view, seafood, and the fun of the fishermen living in the corner of the sea are sure to make you happy. It will make you intoxicated.

The Grand Palace was the lair of the pirate Cai Qian in the early years. Cai Qian was known as the King, and the village was called the Grand Palace. The elders in the village said that Cai Qian did build a large palace of his own, but the traces of it are hard to find. In the middle of Tantoushan Island, there is the core scenic spot of the island. People call her the sister beach. Tantoushan Island is actually made up of two isolated islands that are not connected to each other. There is only about one kilometer of sea surface between the two islands. They are created by nature and connected by a sandy beach in the sea. To the east of this sandy beach is the sea beach, which the common people call Waishatou. To the west is the pebble beach, which the common people call Lishatou. Shatou inside and outside are connected to each other, they are really like sisters.

Waishatou is vast, open and impressive, nearly two kilometers long. It takes 15 minutes to ride a bicycle at a moderate speed. With such a large area, it should be called the first in East China.

The style of Wai Sha Tou is primitive and simple. The beach is still rich in sand clams. The empty beach of Wai Sha Tou has a sparse crowd and very little artificial interference to the beach life. Being here, you can try to see everything. It is the rare harmony between man and nature.

Lishatou is a pebble beach, which is beautiful but not big. Outside the exquisite pebble beach, there is a mudflat with extremely rich marine animals. There are precious marine specialties such as clams and mud snails in the mudflat. When you come here, you can stay on the pebble beach and watch the sea. You can also go down the mudflat and pick up the sea. That fun, Jen, was absolutely unforgettable.

Finally, don’t forget to go to the sister beach to enjoy the wonders of “Shacheng Longjing”. Longjing is located in the center of Shacheng on the side of the pebble beach. Logically speaking, Shacheng is surrounded by the sea on both sides, and when the tide rises, the water level of sea water and well water is almost the same. Can the Longjing water be fresh? The strange thing is that the water of this Longjing, no matter when, even if there is a severe drought, it is as sweet as a spring, mellow and delicious. What's even more surprising is that old fishermen on Tandao said that there used to be no reservoir on the island. When there was a drought, fresh water for ships would be obtained from the nearby Longjing. When the well water is taken in too much and the water level drops to the bottom, when the sea water outside the well rises, the fresh water in the well will also rise simultaneously.

There is an old saying that "a rising tide lifts all boats", but how can it be said that "a rising tide lifts all boats" at Tantoushan's sister beaches? This is really a mysterious phenomenon, and the answer is left to every tracer to study and answer it carefully!
