Beihai Park is located in the central area of Beijing, on the west side of Jingshan Mountain and the northwest side of the Forbidden City. It is also known as the Three Seas with the Sea of China and the South China Sea. Belongs to the ancient royal gardens in China. The whole park is centered on Beihai, covering an area of about 7 1 hectare, with 583 mu of water surface and 480 mu of land. Originally built in Liao, Jin and Yuan Dynasties, it was built as a royal garden in Ming and Qing Dynasties. It is one of the oldest, most complete, most comprehensive and most representative royal gardens in China. It opened in 1925. It is the oldest and most complete royal garden in China and a national key cultural relic protection unit.
