NIO opens up G5 Beijing-Kunming high-speed power swap network *** Layout 19 power swap stations

Bitauto News On June 10, we learned from official channels that with the launch of the battery swap station in the Yuxian service area, NIO has opened up the G5 Beijing-Kunming high-speed battery swap network. The G5 Beijing-Kunming Expressway has a total length of 2,865 kilometers, running through 6 provinces and cities: Beijing, Hebei, Shanxi, Shaanxi, Sichuan, and Yunnan. It is a transportation artery that runs through the north and south.

NIO’s G5 Beijing-Kunming high-speed battery swapping network has a total of 19 battery swapping stations, with an average of one every 160 kilometers, to further meet users’ energy replenishment needs for intercity travel.

As of June 10, NIO has built a total of 964 battery swap stations across the country (including 247 battery swap stations on highways), 832 supercharging stations, 4,592 supercharging piles, and destination charging stations. There are 718 seats, 4,154 destination charging piles, and over 500,000 third-party charging piles.

NIO will continue to set out with the vision of "making powering up more convenient than refueling" and continue to lay out, with a grid layout across the country and a radiating layout in metropolitan areas, so that cities can connect with each other. The connection is closer, allowing users to enjoy long-distance journeys happily.

Before NIO opened up the G5 Beijing-Kunming high-speed power swap network, NIO Power Up Plan Shandong Kongmengshan water line was officially connected. The total length of this section is approximately 378km, with 6 battery swap stations and 4 supercharging stations arranged along the way. It is reported that since the launch of the Power Up Plan destination power line, NIO has successively opened the 318 Sichuan-Tibet Line, the Western Sichuan-Tibet Qiang Ring Line, the Duku Highway, the Qinghai-Tibet Line, the Taihu Ring Line, the Western Liaoning Ring Line, the Shandong Peninsula Ring Sea Line, and the Changbai Mountain in Jilin 26 tourist routes, including 100-meter-long line, provide users with a more convenient travel power-up experience.

In addition to laying out the domestic power swap network, NIO is also actively expanding overseas markets and plans to invest in the construction of a power swap station/charging pile production factory in Hungary, Europe, to support the development of the European market. It is reported that Weilai has begun to "recruit troops" in Hungary.
