Five famous scenic spots in Chaoshan

1. Longhu Ancient Village, located on the west bank of the middle and lower reaches of the Han River, was founded in the Southern Song Dynasty and flourished in the Ming and Qing Dynasties. It is an important trading town in the coastal areas of Chaoshan, and now it still preserves more than 100 ancient buildings, which is called Chaoshan Ancient Architecture Expo.

Guangji Bridge is famous not only in Chaozhou, but also in China. Together with Zhao Zhouqiao in Hebei, Luoyang Bridge in Fujian and Lugou Bridge in Beijing, it is one of the four ancient bridges in China.

3. People who come to Chaozhou will basically go to Paifang Street, which is the first historical and cultural street in Guangdong Province and the most fashionable place. The archways of various colors are surrounded by towers with Guangdong characteristics, which gather authentic Chaozhou snacks and condense the memory of Chaozhou Fucheng.

Kaiyuan Temple was built in the 26th year of Emperor Xuanzong of Tang Dynasty. This palace-style quadrangle complex is the first ancient temple in eastern Guangdong and one of the four existing Kaiyuan temples in China. It has the reputation of being blessed by millions of people and a jungle of 3,000 worlds.

5. The Guangjimen Pagoda, built in the third year of Hongwu in Ming Dynasty (1370), is also a scenic spot worth visiting. Many people will take pictures when they come. After all, it is an ancient city building with a history of more than 600 years. Originally known as "Guangji Tower", also known as "Hanjiang Tower", among the seven towers in Chaozhou, it is commonly known as "Dongmen Tower", which is the first one to make Yue with the river.
