Where is Sabah? Introduction to Sabah

1. Sabah, one of the thirteen Malaysian states, is located in the northeast of kalimantan island, with east longitude 1 15.4 to 1 18.8 degrees and north latitude of about 4.2 to 6.5 degrees. The northeast of Sabah is adjacent to the Philippines and faces the Sulu Sea. In the southeast are Indonesian Sulawesi and kalimantan island, facing the Sulawesi Sea. It borders Brunei and Sarawak in the southeast and the South China Sea in the west.

2. Negri Sabah, referred to as Shazhou for short, formerly known as North Borneo, has the reputation of "land under the wind" and its capital is Kota Kinabalu. It has a tropical rainforest climate.
