Xinjiang Tourism Series 4: Mysterious Kanas Lake

Kanas Lake National Geopark mainly includes Kanas River, Kanas Lake, Kanas Grassland and Kanas Forest.

The sun is flickering, and the scenery is flickering? The lake is changeable. We got on the scenic bus at Yutai Station and went back to the villa where we stayed last night to get our luggage. Then take the scenic bus to Kanas pier. There were so many tourists at that time that I waited in line for a long time before I got on the cruise ship.

Kanas Lake is a national AAAAA tourist attraction, national geological park, national forest park, China nature reserve, national natural heritage and national low-carbon tourism experimental zone, and it is the most beautiful lake in China. The snow peaks of Kanas Lake stand on the green slope of Moline, and the lakes and mountains are beautiful. It is known as "fairyland on earth, the garden of the gods."

Kanas Lake is located in the north of Burqin County, Altay Prefecture, Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region. Lake water comes from melting water of mountain glaciers such as Kuitun and Youyi Peak and local precipitation. The elevation of the lake is 1374m, with an area of 45.73 2, the deepest elevation of the lake is 1 18 1.5m, the lake depth is 188.5m, and the water storage capacity is 53.

Kanas Lake Scenic Area consists of unique natural landscapes such as mountains, rivers, forests, lakes and grasslands, historical and cultural relics such as Genghis Khan's Western Expedition Army, ancient rock paintings and unique folk customs of Tuwa people in Mongolia. It has major scenic spots such as Tuojiang Bay, Discolored Lake, Wolong Bay, and fish-watching platform, and has extremely high tourism, nature protection, scientific investigation and historical and cultural value.

I was attracted by the scenery in front of me. The color of Kanas Lake is unpredictable, like milk for a while, milky white and quiet. For a while, it is like washing water under the painter's pen, green and turbid; For a while, it is as clear and blue as the boundless sea.

Take a cruise to visit Kanas Lake, from Yidawan to Liudao Bay. We really wanted the legendary "Lake Monster" to appear and jump out of the water to say hello to everyone, but it didn't.

Scientists have confirmed that the "lake monster" that has appeared is a red hucho salmon, which is twenty or thirty meters long. Anyway, the magic and mystery of Kanas Lake will remain in my memory. I love Kanas!

After disembarking from the ship, the queue is still endless.

There are many Kanas rivers, and the Irtysh River originates from the southwest slope of Altai Mountain, which is the only Arctic Ocean water system in China. Before dark, we left Kanas for our next destination-Kazakh felt bag. Experience nomadic customs.
