Xinye county scenic spot

Fenghuang Mountain Site, Xinye Han Portrait Brick Museum, Deng Yu's hometown, Xindu Old City, Han Parliament Platform, Nanyang Baihe, etc.

1. Fenghuang Mountain Site: located in the north of Simen Village, Waizi Town, Xinye County. The site of Fenghuang Mountain, namely Zhantai Temple, is one of the sites of human activities in the Neolithic Age about six or seven thousand years ago.

2. Xinye Han Dynasty Portrait Brick Museum: Founded in June 1988, it is the first museum in China that mainly displays Han Dynasty Portrait Bricks. The exhibition in this museum is based on the cultural relics collected by Xinye Han Portrait Brick Museum over the years and unearthed in Xinye. From simple stone tools used by ancient people to various artifacts in social life 19 1 1 years ago, the time span is over one million years.

3. Deng Yu's Hometown: Deng Yu, the first of the twenty-eight lodging places in the Eastern Han Dynasty, was born in Sanquanpi Village, Xinye (now Banqiaopu, suburban township). In recent years, descendants of the Deng family at home and abroad who came to Xinye to seek roots and worship their ancestors have come to worship their ancestors.

4. Xindu Old Town: Xindu is one of the birthplaces of Wang Mang in the new dynasty. It is located in Meiwan Village, Wangzhuang Town, Xinye County, with a distance of 1.5km from Han (middle)-Wang (Zhuang) Provincial Road in the west and Tanghe River in the east.

5. Han Chamber: Formerly known as the Chamber, it was the place where Liu Bei and Zhuge Liang deliberated during the Three Kingdoms period. The discussion platform was built in Han Dynasty. After Liu Bei invited Zhuge Liang out of the thatched cottage, he built it specifically for discussing military affairs. The platform is round. After Wei and Jin Dynasties, the platform collapsed and was almost abandoned because of repeated wars and defeats. During the Wanli period of the Ming Dynasty, the platform was rebuilt and changed into a rectangle, with a length of 80 meters from north to south, a width of 4 meters and a height of 5 meters, made of masonry.

6. Nanyang Baihe: formerly known as Ganshui, is the mother river of Nanyang City, the third largest city in Henan Province. Originated at the eastern foot of Yuhuangding in Funiu Mountain, it finally flows to Xiangfan, Hubei Province, where it joins the Hanshui River, the largest tributary of the Yangtze River.
