I was surprised to find that Daliang in the central city of Shunde actually has an original natural wetland where herons and other birds live. There are more than 10,000 birds living here, with more than 20 species. In an economically developed central city, it takes such a tolerant urban mind to accommodate such a paradise for birds without being destroyed by the economic wave!

In just over two hours of shooting on the evening of December 12, we were able to capture such a large number of densely packed pictures of various bird species. I’m afraid these are rare in specialized zoos, right? Emphasis: pure wild, no artificial captivity! Can I apply for Guinness or other records? I couldn't help but admire: Shunde is really a blessed land given by God!

Due to the weak light, the birds fly very fast, and the brightness of the gray-brown feathers is low. Although the picture is not clear, it is not easy to catch the picture. 3. The formation of the heron forest and the owner of the garden: about fifteen Years ago, Xian Quanhui, a shed builder, contracted this land to plant bamboo for building a shed. Inadvertently, more and more birds, mainly egrets, gathered, attracting various rare birds to gather and attract migratory birds to spend the winter.

The famous old calligrapher Lai Jiyun, Li Lianghui and others inscribed the Lu Garden:

Xian Quanhui is known as Shunde Bird's Uncle, Heron Nanny, Heron Dad, Heron Lucky Star, and Shunde Good Man. . . There are many kinds of birds in the forest, and he knows the appearance and living habits of each one very well. Chatting with him, I felt like he was a bird guardian angel sent to Shunde by God.

He told us that in order to avoid the hustle and bustle of traffic on Bigui Road, birds would choose quiet passages such as Gui Panhai to enter and exit. He told us to speak in a low voice and not to dare to raise our voices for fear of frightening the heavenly beings.

4. The living conditions of herons:

General environment: In recent years, Shunde has made great achievements in ecological environment management The remarkable results are that the sky is bluer than before, the water is clearer than before, the trees are greener than before, and herons have come to make their home.

Food chain: Shunde is located in the Pearl River Delta, and the rivers are densely covered with water networks. The fish, shrimps, snails, clams and insects in the water are food for herons and other birds. Xian Quanhui said that there is a kind of heron that even eats ants.

Egrets go out in groups to forage along the Guipan Sea every day and go to get off work on time. I waited on the Jiazi Bridge for two days and took a spectacular picture of a huge group of egrets riding home in the sunset:

Habitat environment: The forest contracted by Xian Quanhui is about 180 acres. The surrounding area is surrounded by Guipanhai in the west, Bigui Road in the east, Dongle Road in the south, and Yongfeng Industrial Zone in the north, forming an agricultural wetland environment of more than 1,000 acres. The 180 acres of bamboo forest planted by Xian Huanhui form an agricultural wetland environment. The central point where birds gather.

One of the low bamboo forests is surrounded by the surrounding tall forests, blocking the north wind and surrounding city noise, forming a low forest area like the bottom of a pot, where birds look after each other and huddle together for warmth. Mutual body temperature creates a warm aura. No wonder the birds only concentrated in this small forest.

The original ecological environment in the Heron Forest looks like an African tropical rainforest. Not just any bamboo forest can gather egrets:

Due to the natural geographical barrier and the dense forest, , Xian Quanhui dug a moat-like river to prevent poaching, and raised many ferocious dogs. People, the biggest natural enemy of birds, could not enter, so the birds stayed in a corner, where they were able to thrive and expand.

Just imagine which investor invested 100 million and built it for ten or eight years, could it attract such a large number of birds of so many kinds? Birds depend on the character of their owners! This 100 million is the opportunity cost of investment in the ecological environment!

Standing on a high shed in the evening, facing a thousand-acre green stage, watching herons dancing and migrating and birds flying down, listening to the harmonious singing of thousands of birds, it's like hearing the sounds of nature. You can communicate with the angels with your heart and cleanse the dust in your heart.
