Three days is too short. I went to Beijing for eight or nine days last month, but I still felt too hasty. I suggest you stay in an economical hotel along the subway. The transportation is convenient and you can save a lot of time.

Day 1: Tiananmen Square, Forbidden City, Jingshan and Beihai. If you are not tired, you can go to Houhai Bar Street again in the evening. (In order, all on the same line)

The next day: the Great Wall, the Ming Tombs (this can be a tour group, mainly because it is more convenient to join a tour group. There is a Beijing tourism distribution center in the southwest corner of Tiananmen Square. This is formal, and the rest is fraud)

You can go to Wangfujing when you come back at night.

Day 3: Temple of Heaven in the morning. In the afternoon, you can go to Qianmen Street and Dashilan, where there are many old Beijing brands. You can take some souvenirs with you.
