What are the highlights of Zixing Expressway after its completion and opening to traffic?

It was learned from China Railway Construction Investment Group that Guilin Resources to Xing 'an expressway was completed and opened to traffic on the 29th. After opening to traffic, Zixing expressway is connected with the completed expressway in Dongxin, Hunan Province, setting up a "golden passage" for tourism between Zhangjiajie and Guilin, Hunan Province.

Zixing expressway is a key project in Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region, invested and constructed by China Railway Construction Investment Group, with a total investment of 9.4 billion yuan, a total length of 83 kilometers and a design speed of 100 kilometers per hour.

According to relevant sources, Zixing Expressway started construction in August 20 13. Due to its location in mountainous areas and complicated geological conditions, the builders overcame many difficulties and built 9 tunnels and 75 bridges.

Previously, as a key county for poverty alleviation and development in Guangxi, Ziyuan County was only connected with Guilin by a provincial road. Due to the poor road conditions in mountainous areas, it takes at least five or six hours to go back and forth. After opening to traffic, it takes only 1 hour from Guilin to Resources, and only 3 hours from Zhangjiajie to Resources. It is of great significance to further promote the construction of Guilin's international tourism destination, and will promote the development of tourism, processing industry, logistics and other industries along the route.
