Where is Dongshan Island in Zhangzhou?
Dongshan Island is located in Dongshan County, Zhangzhou City, Fujian Province. Dongshan Island, also called Ling Island, is located in the southeast coast of China, between Xiamen City, Fujian Province and Shantou City, Guangdong Province. It is the second largest island in Fujian Province and the seventh largest island in China. Because of its similar appearance, it is also called Butterfly Island.

Dongshan Island is located at the southern end of the triangle economic zone of Xiamen, Zhangzhou and Quanzhou, bordering the Taiwan Province Strait in the east and the intersection of the famous Minnan fishing ground and the eastern Guangdong fishing ground in the southeast.
Dongshan Island has a national economic and technological development zone and a tourism economic development zone.
