Walk into Yesanpo Baili Gorge

"Yesanpo, I come to the wild", what a distinctive and attractive advertising word! Yesanpo, we know it by advertisements, and we also come from advertisements. So I have to admit the advertising effect. During this trip to Hebei, it is said that many tourists in the same industry came with the dream of Yesanpo, just like us.

On July 28th, 20 18, my wife and I finally got on the tourist bus to Yesanpo. The thought of going into Yesanpo and seeing its true meaning is beyond words, and so is our friend.

According to the tour guide, Yesanpo is a national scenic spot, located in Laishui County, Baoding City, west of Beijing. Because of its "heroic, dangerous, strange and secluded" natural landscape and ancient historical sites, it enjoys the reputation of a paradise. The total area is 498.5 square kilometers. There are mainly two tourist routes, "Baili Gorge" and "Yugu Cave", which have the reputation of "the first gorge in the world".

I remember that the tour guide focused on the "Fish Valley Cave" landscape. Yugu Cave is about 1.800 meters deep. There are many stone statues, horse stalactites and strange stone curtain statues in the cave, which are unique. Yugudong is a kind of natural mineral water, which is full of water all the year round and contains a variety of mineral trace elements beneficial to human body. Before and after the season in Grain Rain, fish will be sprayed continuously in Yugu Cave, and a small amount of fish can still be seen. It has become an eternal mystery and is listed as one of the "eight strange springs in the world".

I am full of illusions about these two scenic spots. However, when I arrived at the gate of Baili Gorge in Yesanpo, I realized that I only chose Baili Gorge this time, and I couldn't see Yugu Cave, which was inevitably a bit lost. But there is no way but to follow the passenger flow.

As soon as I entered the gate, a yellow squirrel statue about 10 meters high came into view. Why did this squirrel come here? I was puzzled, but I couldn't find the answer. I just took a few photos and hurried on.

Run along the path leading to the mountains in a hurry. The local villagers sold tourists a hat sewn with oak leaves, which was cool and beautiful to wear.

A gate on the left is impressive. It looks like a park. The mountain road leads all the way to the top of the mountain. There are two seal characters on the gate. No one can tell what they are. The tour guide didn't know it was a "fire show" until he heard it.

The tree-lined path shaded by bamboo fences led us all the way to the mountains, and we entered the Baili Gorge.

As soon as I entered the Baili Gorge, I saw thousands of feet standing on the cliffs on both sides of the strait, towering into the sky, with lush vegetation and full of vitality.

I came across an oval stone standing under the cliff, which read: Huarong Road.

Watch the road ahead. It's like a maze, just like Huarong Road. Look at us tourists, aren't we crossing Huarong Road collectively?

A small stream flows slowly along the artificial small waterway under the cliff, and sometimes it forms a small waterfall or pond due to the drop of the hillside.

The flowing water and the precipice form a magnificent picture, which is suitable for both movement and static. It also brought coolness to tourists who were sweating profusely, and some children simply played in the stream.

The tourists coming and going in the Baili Gorge are endless, and the crowds are surging, which almost fills the whole canyon.

With a scream, I hurried to the edge of the cliff and saw a little squirrel jumping up and down, and soon disappeared into the bushes and disappeared. Unwilling, the children still stared at the cliff motionless.

On the small pond formed by the Bay Creek, you can often see several blue butterflies chasing each other, flying east and west for a while, and then disappearing. I waited for a long time with my camera before I captured them.

Once they fell, we suddenly realized that they were not butterflies at all, but blue dragonflies.

While walking, enjoy it. Suddenly, a piece of green plants on the cliff attracted me, and I quickly approached to take pictures. It turned out that it was called "single grass". It has a single stem and a single leaf, and it can also be used as medicine!

Rooted evenly on the cliff piece by piece, it not only shows its vigorous vitality, but also dresses up the cliff magnificently.

Not far away, on the edge of a green cliff, you can occasionally see pink flowers, which are blooming brightly, adding a ray of color to this Bailixia Valley. It's called China Begonia. Commonly known as Begonia flower, it usually blooms in June and July, with pink flowers and red petioles and stems. Folic acid can quench thirst and is an important wild flower in Hebei.

Here, we often see arachnids, also known as centipede flags or ferns, and many plants that can't be named.

It's more than that. Those rocks are also strange.

The stone shaped like tremella grows on a high cliff, which is a natural landscape, and is called "travertine" in modern times. This is the dissolution of dolomite by modern fissure water along the fissure, which makes the calcium carbonate in the rock dissolve out, produces precipitation, and can also form stalactites over time.

By the stream, we found "turtles exploring the sea" and so on.

Seeing this, I can't help but sigh, there are so many species here! According to the data, there are more than 2000 kinds of plant resources in more than 70 families in Bailixia, and hundreds of animals, big or small, quiet or noisy, shuttle between mountains and fly between peaks.

This Baili Gorge deserves to be a treasure house of Baili Gallery and animals and plants!

When I came to the depths of the canyon, I found two big stones, such as gatekeepers, standing firmly on both sides, and the one on the right was "Yesanpo Baili Gorge".

On the left is "The First Gorge in the World" inscribed by Hu Sheng. I went to the depths of Baili Gorge, and I just pointed out the theme.

In front of us is a gently sloping mountain, and a big cave appears halfway up the mountain. A waterfall flies down from the cave, which is undoubtedly the source of the stream along the way. Particularly spectacular and touching, it became the poem Waterfall.

Cliffs spray snow into the air and sing to the sky day and night.

Turn into a stream to meet guests from afar, and run for hundreds of miles to moisten fertile fields.

You can climb to the top of the mountain from the left and right. At this time, we have been left far behind by fellow tourists, and our lover is a little tired. I climbed the stairs alone. At a certain height, I suddenly found a cave and walked to the other side without hesitation. Sure enough, this cave is the gateway to water curtain cave.

In the middle of the waterfall cave is a small pond, which creates a spectacular waterfall.

Condescending, another scene.

Return from the tunnel and continue climbing. Although there was a layer of water on the steps, it did not stop me from climbing. Suddenly, a paragraph appeared in front of my eyes. I don't know where the front leads, but I walked on without hesitation. As a result, water curtain cave.

When I went down the mountain, I thought, although I didn't walk all the way, I was glad that I climbed the mountain alone and found a hole in the sky.

On the way back, we took the scenic bus, which saved a lot of effort.

I saw another wonder at the gate: the immortal officer led the way.

During the walk, I occasionally saw a low statue of "Squirrel Begging for India" with a stone tablet underneath, but the handwriting was vague and completely unrecognizable. Look at the tall yellow squirrel statue on the right side of the gate. In mutual confirmation, I became interested in the origin of this squirrel. After consulting, there is still a story!

According to historical records, in the early Ming Dynasty, Judy, the prince of Yan, moved northward to Yesanpo and saw wild animals on the mountain, that is, squirrels holding pine cones. The prince thought the squirrel was handing a gift, and now he said to the left and right, "All beasts are obedient, where are people?" ! "So he issued a pardon Ding Liang's letters. Up to now, the legend of "the prince won the championship, the squirrel was sealed, and the grain was exempted from sealing" is still widely circulated in Yesanpo area.

No wonder the most common image here is squirrel. In squares and parks, even street lamps are squirrel-shaped. Presumably, this is people's gratitude to squirrel seals and people's yearning for a better life.

There is a museum on the left side of the gate of Bailixia. My wife and I went in to watch the scenic film, and then watched the exhibition. I was particularly surprised to see the minerals in Yesanpo, including crystals and gold mines. It turns out that it is not only beautiful, but also rich in products.

Out of the scenic spot, cross a green corridor.

See a very special building, a closer look is: Yesanpo Wisdom Center.

The small train on Yesanpo in the square has also become a landscape.

Colorful houses built along the river, like building blocks, are reflected in the water to form their own scenery, which has also become a major feature of Yesanpo architecture.

That night, we lived near the scenic spot. The surrounding mountains have their own characteristics and scenery everywhere. The flood of Juma River rolled forward along the mountain and flowed into the distance.

On the way back, there was always a mystery in my heart. Ever since I entered the Baili Gorge of Yesanpo, I have always seen cliffs and smooth roads, but why is there a saying of Yesanpo?

I didn't know that Yesanpo is bounded by Fangshan in the southeast, Wanping in the northeast and Zhuozhou in the northwest until I consulted relevant information. The terrain gradually increases from south to north, which is quite different, so it is divided into three slopes: upper, middle and lower. "Zhuozhou Zhi" records: "Because of the barrier of mountains, the climate is different on the uphill and downhill slopes. The difference between cold and warm is half a month. Every spring, the walnuts on the downhill slope are already very strong, and the flowers on the uphill slope begin to bloom. Later, it rained a little, and farming also shifted. " It can be seen that the name of Yesanpo comes from the change of topography and climate.

Exactly, "I don't know the true face of Lushan Mountain, but toward which corner of the mountain." How can a mountain tourist see the whole picture of the scenic spot with a total area of 498.5 square kilometers?

It's a pity that we didn't finish the trip to Yesanpo, but we are lucky. We reward those who go far.

People who are in a hurry may ignore the scenery around them; If you slow down, you will get more surprises.
