Sanmenxia is located at the junction of Henan and Shaanxi provinces in the Central Plains, an important town in the west of Henan, adjacent to Luoyang City, the Millennium Imperial Capital in the east, Nanyang City in the south, Chang 'an Ancient City in the west, and Sanjin in the north across the Yellow River. Historically, it is the economic and cultural center at the junction of the three provinces. China's ancient civilization, the miracle of the motherland at present, the lakes and mountains in southern Xinjiang and the beautiful glaciers in northern China have all been cleverly concentrated and displayed here, which has unique conditions and very broad prospects for developing tourism.
