2015 U.S. visa application process
I will introduce to you the 2015 U.S. visa application process, hoping to be helpful to students studying abroad. If you want to know more about studying abroad, I will give you detailed answers. U.S. visa application process:
1. Apply for a passport (visiting relatives, business, and used five-year tourist passport) according to the approval procedures for Chinese citizens traveling abroad.
Reminder: If it is the first time to use a private passport, and the destination country on the exit card is not the United States, the applicant is responsible for changing the card after the visa is issued. The passport is valid for more than nine months (calculated from the time of visa submission).
2. Applicants must have a fixed occupation and a fixed income, such as: manager, businessman, civil servant, engineer, accountant, doctor, teacher, clerk, translator, etc. Applicants must be over 25 years old and have been working in the current unit for one year; those who have worked in Guangdong for one year must hold a temporary residence permit that has been issued for more than one year (Meiling will consider it); those under 15 years old can accompany their parents (Mother) can apply to go during the winter and summer vacations; if you are 15 or 18 years old, it will be discussed separately.
3. Sign your Chinese name on the U.S. visa application form (OPTIONAL FORM 156), and try two copies.
4. Certificate of applicant’s unit. Copy of the company's business license, company profile and product catalog. If it is a private unit, it is necessary to provide the unit's tax payment certificate (local tax, national tax) for the past six months. If you are an employee of a state-owned unit, you must provide a work permit, letter of appointment, letter of appointment (if you have an official position), etc.
5. 8 one-inch large black and white/color frontal photos (white background) and 4 business cards. The title, phone number, and address of the business card must be consistent with the materials you filled in. Copies of my ID card, work permit, and family register.
6. Copies of personal property certification documents (such as large bank deposits, multiple real estate certificates, securities, car licenses* with photo pages*, driver's license, etc.).
7. The consulate has the right to require tourist visa applicants to supplement the required materials for the visa at any time or to go to the consulate for questioning.
8. The travel agency has the right to require the applicant to pay a certain amount of security deposit (at least RMB 50,000) based on the applicant's information. The team must collect the security deposit from our agency with their passport and copy within one week after returning to the country.
9. If the consulate refuses the visa or cancels the visa for any reason, the visa fee of RMB 900 will be deducted.
10. Applicants must not currently be registered to apply for a U.S. immigration or non-immigrant visa. If there is any immigrant or non-immigrant visa refusal record, the reason, time, and location of the visa refusal must be detailed (the consulate has computer records, and concealing it will only result in permanent visa refusal). If you have been refused a visa for one year before, you may apply for a tourist visa at your discretion.
11. Provide information on foreign travel experience: such as visa copies and photos from the United States, Europe, Australia, Japan and other countries. If you have ever been to the United States, please provide information such as the time when you received the visa, the place where you received the visa, and the length of stay in the United States.
12. Original passport. (A five-year private passport or a used five-year tourist passport can be used)
13. If you are traveling alone, please provide your spouse’s employer and job certification documents.
14. Fill in the "Questionnaire for Applicants Going to the U.S." issued by U.S. Ling and sign it yourself.
15. The home phone number must be the same as the current address; if the office phone number is a phone number in an independent office, please provide an additional phone number in a nearby office.
