2. If you want to spend the night on the mountain and watch the sunrise, you should leave in the morning.

3. If you don't want to spend the night and watch the sunrise on the mountain, it's best to go up the mountain in the morning (by transportation or hiking) and go down the mountain in the afternoon (by transportation or hiking).

Second, the route and mode of going up the mountain:

1. Take bus No.3 (1 yuan) from the railway station square to the "Tianwai Village" station, and change to minibus (the fare is around 15 yuan due to different seasons) to the Zhongtianmen ropeway station;

2. Take the No.3 bus (1 yuan) from the railway station square to the "Hongmen" station, and then walk to the Zhongtianmen ropeway station, which usually takes about 2 hours (the section from "Hongmen" to Zhongtianmen is a place where Taishan scenery is relatively concentrated).
