Suggestions for visiting Mount Tai:

1. Climbing time:

1. If you are in Tai 'an in the morning and want to spend the night on the mountain and watch the sunrise, I suggest you go to see the "Dai Temple" first (take a bus from the train station square, 1 yuan). Go up the mountain after lunch break (by means of transportation);

2. If you want to spend the night on the mountain and watch the sunrise, you should leave in the morning.

3. If you don't want to spend the night and watch the sunrise on the mountain, it's best to go up the mountain in the morning (by transportation or hiking) and go down the mountain in the afternoon (by transportation or hiking).

Second, the route and mode of going up the mountain:

1. Take bus No.3 (1 yuan) from the railway station square to the "Tianwai Village" station, and change to minibus (the fare is around 15 yuan due to different seasons) to the Zhongtianmen ropeway station;

2. Take the No.3 bus (1 yuan) from the railway station square to the "Hongmen" station, and then walk to the Zhongtianmen ropeway station, which usually takes about 2 hours (the section from "Hongmen" to Zhongtianmen is a place where Taishan scenery is relatively concentrated).

* * * When you take the No.3 bus in the railway station square, you must make it clear whether you want to go to Tianwai Village or Hongmen to avoid taking the wrong bus.

**** "Tianwai Village" and "Hongmen" are the two starting points of mountain climbing. From Tianwai Village, you can go up the mountain by car. From the "Red Gate" is hiking up the mountain (you can choose one). Tickets 8 yuan +2 yuan insurance.

3. Take the ropeway from Zhongtianmen ropeway station to the "Nantianmen" (running water, 8 minutes apart, 8 people per car, one-way 45 yuan +2 yuan insurance, same price). Get off the ropeway and cross the "Nantianmen" to reach the top of the mountain. You can have fun or find a hotel or go down the mountain.

Third, matters needing attention:

1. It's cold at the top of the mountain, so you need to rent a coat to watch the sunrise, and each coat is about 1 yuan;

2. The board and lodging price at the top of the mountain is high, and the average bed is about 1 yuan, and the grade is average; There are also dozens of beds, so we can only make do with it; There are also good hotels, so you have to pay more money;

3. On the mountain climbing road, the prices of fruit and tea are reasonable.

4. Don't climb mountains at night. Some people want to save money while watching the sunrise. They climb mountains at night and go to the top of the mountain before dawn to watch the sunrise. This is very inappropriate: (1) Although there are lights on the mountain road, it is inconvenient to be one foot deep and one foot shallow; (2) You can't see anything along the mountain at night. What a injustice!

Fourth, suggestions:

Young people can hike up the mountain and down the mountain from the "Red Gate". My experience is that it takes about 1 hours to hike up and down the mountain and see the scenery. After all, Mount Tai is a dual heritage of culture and nature, which is quite beautiful. Spend less money and see more scenery. Why not?

5. Mountaineering expenses (excluding room and board expenses):

1. Tickets: 82 yuan+Xiaogong * * * bus goes up and down around 3 yuan+cableway goes up and down 94 yuan+No.3 bus 2 yuan =21 yuan.

2. You only need tickets to 82 yuan for the whole walk.

6. Downhill (city) accommodation recommendation:

There is a "Wangdai Hotel" on the west side of the railway station, which is run by the railway and has good conditions. We stayed in a double standard room with 24-hour hot water supply, and the price was: 6 yuan/room (after bargaining). Tel: 538-8222829 or 538-219629. There are many hotels near the railway station, and there is always one for you.

VII. Why are you recommended to see the Dai Temple (ticket to 2 yuan)?

The Tiantai Temple in the Dai Temple, the Taihe Temple in the Forbidden City in Beijing and the Dacheng Hall in the Confucius Temple in Qufu are called the three palace-style buildings in China.

The "Heavenly Palace" is inhabited by (dedicated to) the God of Mount Tai;

The "Dacheng Hall" is inhabited by a saint-Confucius;

The "Hall of Supreme Harmony" is inhabited by a man-the emperor.

There are many great halls in China, but none of them can be compared with the three great halls of God, Saint and Man (Emperor). Emperors of all ages went to Mount Tai to worship Zen, starting from Daimiao, passing through Hongmen, Zhongtianmen and Nantianmen, and reaching the top of the mountain.

(Accommodation) Be sure to bargain, and cut it harder (this is my experience). The golden week is coming to an end, and the hotel is gradually empty. If we don't stay, they can't stay. It's strange not to discount!
