One-day tour of Linjiang

Linjiang is an ancient town with distinctive features, located in the northeast. The climate and natural environment are very special, and many scenery are amazing. Coupled with the simple local folk customs, it has formed a unique landscape and attracted a large number of tourists. The following is a detailed travel guide for everyone.

Linjiang is a small town on the border between China and North Korea, beside the Yalu River, with pleasant scenery.

In the morning, I visited the Linjiang Campaign Memorial Hall in Bao Si to review the history. Bao Si Linjiang Campaign Memorial Hall is divided into 8 exhibition halls, with more than 400 precious pictures, 2 stereoscopic synthetic images, 6 bronze statues, 150 cultural relics, 89 cannons, 48 artillery shells and oil.

2 paintings, 5 large reliefs, 2 1 inscription. Systematically display the grand scene of our army's "Three Downhills and Four Guarantees of Linjiang" during the Northeast Liberation War and the selfless dedication of the people in the old Linjiang area to bravely support the front, join the army and participate in the war.

Linjiang is located in the hinterland of Changbai Mountain, beside the Yalu River, facing North Korea across the river. Rowing a bamboo raft in the upper reaches of the river can clearly see North Korea on the other side. The famous local snack is pot stickers, but my favorite is pancakes, especially those with stuffing inside. When the skin is crispy, I can eat a plate myself.

Matters needing attention

1. Although there are not many tourists on the riverside, hotels need to be booked in advance on holidays due to the small city and limited carrying capacity.

The mountain road is rugged and the traffic is inconvenient, so road trip is the best choice.

The lower the temperature, the redder the maple leaves. If you want to see the red leaves, be prepared for the cold.

In the afternoon, stroll in Jiang Xindao Park and enjoy the scenery of North Korea across the river. Here, you can also sign up for a day trip to Dongjiang County, North Korea, without a passport and visa, just an ID card.
