How many days does it take to get to Tibet from Jinan and how much does it cost?

It depends on what kind of transportation you use and where you go.

If you take the Qinghai-Tibet Railway, the stations closer to Jinan are Beijing-Lhasa and Shanghai-Lhasa. You can go to Beijing or Xuzhou and take the train. The fare is about 700 (sleeper class) and it takes about 44 hours to reach Lhasa. For flights, there are Beijing-Lhasa, Jinan-Chengdu-Lhasa. If you book the flight tickets in advance, you will get a discount. The cheaper ones are about 1,500.

The minimum time for traveling in Tibet is one day in Lhasa, two days each in Shigatse and Nyingchi, one day in Yangbajing and Namtso, 2-3 days in Shannan, and at least ten days in Ali. , there seem to be relatively few people going to Qamdo and Nagqu.

The cost depends on the season you are going, whether you are traveling in a group or on your own, and the transportation and accommodation you choose. The peak season is a quarter to a half more expensive than the off-season, and it is more expensive to travel by yourself than in a group. Accommodation can range from small hotels with dozens of yuan to hotels with hundreds of yuan.

This year, because Tibet tourism has not fully recovered, it will be cheaper. I went there at the end of July. The round-trip train ticket cost about 1,500 (for the bus to Xuzhou), and I stayed in a better hotel for one or two hundred days. The tickets for attractions in Lhasa were about 200, going to Shigatse was about 300, Nyingchi was about 300, and I wanted to see a lot in Ali. What kind of car to rent, how many people.

The above are some of my experiences. Here are some excerpts from other places:

Tibet’s tourism pattern radiates from Lhasa to Shigatse, Shannan, Nagqu, Ngari, and Nyingchi. The six most common tourist routes are formed in the six regions of Henan and Qamdo:

1. Lhasa-Shigatse-Lazi-Zhangmu line: starting from Lhasa and ending at Zhangmu to go to Nepal, it takes about 8 —12 days.

2. Lhasa-Shigatse-Lazi-Tsoqen-Gaize-Geji-Shiquanhe-Pulang line: This line leading to the Ngari region is now the most popular tourist route in Tibet. The conditions were tough along the way. The time should be at least 3 weeks (Lhasa-Ngari Ring Line).

3. Lhasa-Gyantse-Shigatse-Lhasa line: It is a tourist ring line. This route mainly shows the gorgeous history and religious culture of Tibet, taking into account the natural scenery, and the time is relatively short. Not counting the tour in Lhasa, the whole journey takes 2-4 days.

4. Lhasa-Shannan (Zedang) line: Shannan is the birthplace of the Tibetan people. The distance from Lhasa to Zedang is only 200 kilometers. Including local sightseeing, 2-3 days are enough. Moreover, this route can also be combined with the Lhasa-Gyantse-Shigatse-Lhasa tourist circuit.

5. Lhasa-Nakqu-Golmud Line: It is a line along the Qinghai-Tibet Highway, mainly featuring grassland and snowy scenery. Nagqu is an important town in northern Tibet. It is famous for the Changtang Horse Racing Festival every August. There is a direct bus from Lhasa to Golmud, the total distance is about 1,200 kilometers.

6. Lhasa - Nyingchi - Shannan (Zedang) - Lhasa line: Nyingchi on this ring line is called "Jiangnan of Tibet". This route is about 2,000 kilometers in total and generally takes 4-7 days.

Hope it helps you~
