Introduction to Min Lake

Min Lake is located in Minhu Village, Banmian Township, Youxi County, Sanming City, Fujian Province. It is an artificial lake formed by a street hydropower station. It is a national-level water conservancy scenic spot.

The water surface area of ??Min Lake reaches 36.7 square kilometers, and the maximum width of the reservoir is 2.5 kilometers, which is the highest in the province. The vast, blue Youxi Min Lake is like a huge gem embedded in the center of Fujian. Min Lake Water Conservancy Scenic Area takes Min Lake as the core, relies on the profound cultural heritage of Youxi, connects various tourist landscape nodes, and integrates water conservancy engineering landscape, hydrogeological landscape, historical relics landscape, landscape leisure resort landscape, and water sightseeing and entertainment landscape. It is a comprehensive tourist scenic spot with special features. Tourists can enjoy the elegance of the mountains and rivers in this scenic spot surrounded by mountains and rivers. "Turtle Elephant Stone", Minxin Garden, Diaoyutai, and fishery breeding base are all good places for people to relax, and the newly added water sports yachts and paragliders are even more exciting for tourists. Now, Min Lake has become a new highlight of water ecological tourism in Fujian. During holidays and Golden Week, there is an endless stream of tourists from inside and outside the province. The hub building consists of a concrete face rockfill dam, left bank spillway, right bank water diversion system, underground powerhouse and dam top switch station. The maximum dam height of the concrete face rockfill dam is 126m, the slope of the upstream face of the dam is 1:1.4, and the comprehensive slope of the downstream face is 1:1.35. The flood discharge structure uses a shore spillway, which is arranged on the left bank, and the water diversion system is arranged on the right bank, including the water inlet and the diversion tunnel. The shaft-type water inlet is arranged in the right bank gully about 50m away from the dam axis. The diversion tunnel line adopts a zigzag layout and an inclined shaft plan. The total length of the 1# hole line is 449.49m and the total length of the 2# hole line

The street surface reservoir covers an area of ??36.7 square kilometers and the maximum width of the reservoir is 2.5 kilometers. It can be developed into a reservoir area landscape focusing on water recreation and island mountain range exploration. The project has convenient transportation. It only takes 3 hours to go directly to Xiamen by taking the provincial highway 206 Xixia Line, and it only takes 2 and a half hours to get to Fuzhou by taking the Fuyin Expressway.
