The Sun Moon Lake looks like a steep cliff, with the Milky Way descending from the sky, hanging upside down, pouring into a stone trough, and the waves rolling, and then entering Bitan Lake, only the waterfall falls, but the pool does not move. This is the Sun Moon Lake.

Sun Moon Lake is 748 meters above sea level, with a maximum depth of 27 meters and a circumference of about 37 kilometers. It is one of the freshwater lakes with the most exotic species in Taiwan Province, China. There is an island in Sun Moon Lake that looks like a bead floating on the water from afar. It is called Lalu Island. With this island as the boundary, the northern half lake is shaped like a round sun and the southern half lake is shaped like a crescent moon, hence the name Sun Moon Lake.

Sun Moon Lake is a scenic "Tianchi Lake" in Taiwan Province, China. It is located in the north of Yushan Mountain and the south of Nenggao Waterfall. It was formerly called Shuishalian, Longhu, Shuishe Great Lake and Shuangtan, also known as Shuilishe. It is bounded by Guanghua Island, with the northern half lake shaped like a round sun and the southern half lake shaped like a crescent moon.
