Shuitou settlement

This is an ancient village where buildings in southern Fujian gather. There is a strong southern Fujian style here. Shishan artillery position

Shishan artillery position is the only existing tunnel howitzer position, also known as Zhendong Tunnel, which means "Megatron Jin Dong".

On August 23rd, 1958, the frontline troops of China People's Liberation Army in Fujian launched a barrage, firing more than 470,000 shells in 44 days. Yu Dawei, then the "Minister of National Defense" of the Kuomintang, sought the support of the US government. The U.S. military transported the 8-inch self-propelled howitzer to Kinmen and launched a counterattack against the People's Liberation Army at the Shishan artillery position.

Mashan observatory

Kinmen is the closest stronghold to the mainland, and it was one of frontline base in wartime. Known as the first whistle in the world, it is also one of the attractions that Jinmen can't miss.

Shamei

Shamei is the name of an old street, located in Jingsha. It is a small business circle and the most lively area here.

Juguang building

If we want to say the landmark building of Kinmen, it must be Juguang Building, which is a three-story antique palace building. Now it is used to praise the deeds of heroic officers and soldiers. You can visit the magnificent buildings here and learn more about the past history. It is a must-see attraction in Kinmen.
